It's a capo. It works. Enough said.
It's a capo. It does what it should. It's a bit tight but I'm sure after breaking it in it the spring won't be so hard. These types of capos aren't good for your strings if left there too long. They put too much tension on the string and pull your guitar out of tune. That said, as long as you use it like a normal person and keep it on the neck only for the time you need to use it then it works beautifully. And don't be one of those people to clamp it to their headstock when they aren't playing it. You're dampening your guitar's tone.I love this capo. Fits perfect, does it's job, has a fantastic finish and a classy look, and comes in a real slick little sack.

excellent for bass, even my 5 string
Well made metal capo with enough pressure for the larger strings of a bass. Even good enough to hold down a 5 string from either the top or bottom of the neck. Also has a nice finish.

fine specimen
this is a high quality, beautifully simple, and completely functional piece of guitar hardware. it even came with a nice little synch top cloth bag that is pretty good quality. (i actually have a little black synch top bag collection...don't ask) ANYWAY, i have only one complaint about the design. i have a custom built acoustic that i basically treat like its made of glass. in the joint where it clamps to the neck, its totally unpadded metal. with the neck side arm being a little dinky, its easy to hit the side of the fretboard with the bare metal. once you line it up and get it clamped on, it's absolutely rock solid with those thick rubber pads. i don't have any guitar buddies to show it off to, but i would recommend this to anyone looking for a great capo.

Very well-made of quality metal. I did not expect this item to be so well constructed.
This Capo is extremely well-made of high-quality metal. Although the advertisement claims it is made of premium quality, zinc, I never expected. It would be good when I ordered it. For that matter, it is absolutely great value for money. I am very impressed with the item and it’s cost.

Great product but came with pockmarks on the face of the capo
Great capo, applies just the right amount of pressure so that there is no string buzz and everything stays wonderfully in tune. Looks great too. The only reason I'm not giving this capo 5 stars is because mine came with these deep pock marks on the face of the capo. If you're buying this capo for the looks, the pockmarks defeat the purpose of the purchase. It looks like these came about because something happened during the finishing process or someone dropped it. Would give this 5 stars if they had better quality control. Also I want to say that there are a lot of cheaper capos out there copying this style. Buy this one. It's made entirely of metal unlike the others which use plastic.

Great capo
A great looking capo that works well, is easy to use, and is built to last. Classy, and perfectly functional. Arrived promptly, packaged well, and has a nice cloth bag to keep the finish nice.I've always used Kysers, and am very satisfied with them, but needed a new capo, so I tried a Thalia because they look great, and got one to match my guitar. Beautiful, but the pads are too hard to fit well. One of the pads is too curved to fit right; another is too flat. With the Nordic, (like Kysers) one capo fits all the guitars I have tried it on.This has all the functionality I need, and is classy to boot.

Great quality
Very easy to handle. Clamps on tightly, without sending the strings out of pitch. I used it on my 12 string during special occasion and it functioned very well.

More Than Satisfied
I have a pile of guitars, and a ton of gear/accessories/etc to go with them, but I can never seem to find one of my half dozen capos when I need one, for some reason...I bought this for the rigs in the living room, but it looks nice with my Taylor 814e, so I have dedicated it solely to that guitar instead...I will likely be ordering at least one more, and maybe a few more, just to be able to find them when I need them....Shipping was on time, as expected, and it works, as expected.... also, it looks nice...UPDATE: While visiting a couple of different guitar shops(one big chain store, one local instrument dealer) around town, I checked out the different capos they carried and price compared them to this one. I ended up ordering two more of these on Amazon, and couldn't be happier with them. I feel they are a great buy, and also look nice! I am putting one of these in each guitar case, so I am never having to look for one again(which means I will be ordering a few more down the road.... my paycheck doesn't allow for me to buy a dozen of these all at once! lol)
