I wear these for walks with my camera, or to get packages (delivery trucks don't come up my steep & muddy driveway), or other places where it's going to be cold and I'll need my fingers. Like signing for packages, or using the camera shutter, or getting things out of my pocket or whatever. They were a perfect fit. These are fleece, NOT waterproof (might be water resistant, but I haven't tried them for that, no need to), and I wear for warmth only. Good value. And work very well for keeping my fingers warm in winter.

Good but buy a bigger size. Velcro closures are good but can be annoying when you want to close the top. Probably better for people who want them open for longer rather than those who open and close a lot.

I haven’t had to use my hand warmers. I actually usually wear these gloves with the fingertips section folded back because the palm part of the glove is quite toasty. I think I’m going to order a second pair before these are no longer available!ORIGINAL POST: I got these this morning and wore them on a 2 hour walk in the woods. The temperature was 20 degrees F. Out of the package I was worried because they seemed somewhat thin, but they really did the trick on my walk. They kept my hands very warm. My hands are 7 1/2 inches from the bottom of my palm/edge of wrist to the top of my middle finger. I have thin, long fingers and am a woman. I ordered a size large and they fit very well. I bought these mittens for a trip to Iceland. There certainly are comfortable, but I found them awkward trying to take photos, text, and make calls. The did not compare to the gloves I purchased. For a less cold/harsh environment, they would be great. They just were not as hearty as I needed.

Great for running! I’ve used them in 17 degrees up to about 40, I peel back tops by end of run. They are warm but so easy to use phone if needed.

I bought these gloves based on their reviews, and they do not disappoint! I bought them to wear on my cold outdoor runs this winter, and they are perfect. I love the versatility they provide with the option to wear as mittens or fingerless gloves. When I start to get to hot, I pop off the mitten cap and it's just the right amount of breathability to cool my hands down. I love that the thumb has a slit to pop out as well. Great for easy access to phone screens and the like. A great purchase!!
