Auto Electricity and Electronics (Training Series for Ase Certification, A6)

My son uses this book for his auto tech program in college and it is the exact book he needed. It was half the price the college was asking. Everything intact and great condition and value!

Comprehensive, Complete Textbook specialized in A6 Automotive Electrical and Electronics System 2019. The text is very detailed and complete in coverage of Automotive Electrical Systems, it covers both design, construction and operation of devices and systems, then covers diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair and service of electrical systems and devices. I have all editions of this book in my automotive bookshelf, along with many others, I say , James E Duffy writes some of the best Automotive Electrical System textbooks in print. I am studying for the ASE A6 Electrical System exam early next year and purchased this text to be up to date on Electrical System. The book is a softcover, the pages are soft and look as if printed on Inkjet printer, pages are not as previous editions on glossy thick stronger plastified pages printed on LaserJet, that is a minus on it, maybe that's why it costs much less than hardcover previous editions. Book must be kept from humid weather, soft pages may absorb air moisture and weave. Except for that, you get a Top Book on Automotive Electrical Systems. Highly Recommended! For those studying for ASE exams, keep on studying hard!, exams are around the corner!

for your beginner automotive electrical class

This is an excellent training book. Illustrations and content are clear concise and accurate. Almost 800 pages long this is a serious chunk of material to absorb. I hope to pass the ASE certification test and Im really impressed with this book. If you really want to learn this topic the book is great.

I do not have any dislikes; I hope that more practical or hands on aspects of the field can be added as time goes by.

This book is a very good book with a lot of details.

This textbook covers essentially every aspect of automotive electrical systems, from charging to starting, as well as accessories and how to diagnose/understand each of these systems. This is the textbook requirement for SUNY Canton's Automotive Electrical Systems.
