The Conus 2 United Bale Spear has a 3000 lb capacity and 1 3/4" diameter and uses the C2 weld in sleeve (see measurements in photo). The 49" United Bale Spear is designed for use with farm and construction equipment and can handle any of your daily needs. Used in hay attachments, grapples, buckets, and other skid steer and tractor attachments. This spear is forged and tempered for maximum strength. Each spear is painted red, stamped with the United Bale Spear logo, and includes our trademarked blue nut. The included C2 sleeve is designed specifically for the Conus 2 spear to provide a tight fit with no play.

Quality Steel, Junk paint
Paint was falling off when I received.The casting is different between the two. (Quite noticeable when you put them side by side on a frame)The sleeve was built well, and welded in nicely.Definitely not as nice as they advertise.But they are sturdy built. Time will tell!

Good quality
Stacey Hinders we uses them almost every day on our farm. I built an attachment for my tractor and skid loader with them. They work great. They came on time and also were packaged appropriate.

They make great products the spears do not hold up i have broke both of them they replaced one we are only lifting 1200 rolls with them I also bought the double hay spear.

Farmers can’t afford junk.
These spears are soft and are not meant for every day farm use. The first set bent and I was sent another set. After cutting 3 round bales the spear are all bent. The oem spears lasted 20 years in our hay knife. Now I need to buy another brand. Don’t buy these spears. Horrible quality.
