Maybelline- Colossal Kajal Eyeliner Pencil Black

I have been using the Maybelline Colossal Kajal for a long time now. When I decided to purchase it online for the first time, I was very happy with how quickly I received my product and that I received the 'free gift'. But now, let me warn you! The gift is only a way to cover-up the bigger things. This seller sent me the duplicate product that one sees vendors on the road selling for a fraction of the cost. I realised this the moment I took the top cap off anditmade a funny pop sound- very different from the original packaging. Then as I inspected closely, I realised the plastic was of a cheaper quality. So I began to compare this product to an old (original) one that I still had with me. The black writing on the body of the fake one was rubbing off while the one on my old one is still intact (picture attached) and even the colour of the body was slightly off..... What more can I say? The textures of the two products was different and this fake one didn't stay on for even 30 minutes before it began smudging which if somebody has used the original knows is strange as the real product really does stay on for 12 hours! What's worse is that my eyes began burning 5 minutes after I used it which had never happened before.I have reported the seller and would caution you all to be careful because it isn't only about the money you waste but also about the harm you are doing to yourself by using a fake product.

~This eyeliner may be many things, but “lasting” is not one of them, that thing about “lasting 12 hours” is a huge overstatement. It lasts just few hours before it starts melting on your face.The first day I used it to go to the office, I spent 8 hours in my office’s AC so there was no sweating or much physical activity, it lasted about 5 hours without much smudging, although I noticed some, on the outer corners of the eyes. The next day I applied it before I did some errands, driving the car to stores, walking to the store, AC all of the time, but just by walking it got smudged in about 3 hours, it looked awful!, I had to re-apply to make it look better and by the end of the night it was mostly gone.I didn’t even bother trying it during Spinning class.This is a surprise to me as most Maybelline products are excellent and I adore their mascaras (the waterproof ones do last more than12 hours) so this is the first time I get a Maybelline product with such low quality.~ The shipping took over 4 weeks, so if you want this product anyway, be aware of the shipping times as this product came all the way from India. I had to write 2 times to the seller to get shipping and tracking information, as he doesn’t provides it by default.~ Now, I have oily skin and that may affect the way this holds into my skin. Maybe if you have dry skin this pencil will work for you and will last more than 3 hours on.~The pencil I received was made in India (maybe different quality?).* The good about this pencil: beautiful black color, easy to apply, creamy and great texture, easy to use as you don’t have to sharpen the pencil and it doesn’t tug your skin while applying it because is very creamy.* The bad: it lasts just a few hours before it disappears or smudges from your skin, and that was the main reason I purchased this pencil: because it’s supposed to last up to 12 hours.This is not a good product for my needs and for my skin type, and the claims of lasting 12 hours are misleading, so I have to give it a bad review for those reasons.

At the time I purchased at a cheaper price it has went up since. Nice eyeliner from what I can tell...seems to last past the work day...but not as dark as the day goes on...still happy with it. These were made in India for anyone who needs to know. Would purchase again.

Even after using eyeshadow to set the liner and adding setting spray on a brush to set I still end up with raccoon eyes within an hour of wear

I used this product back in India. I was stalking amazon for random products and found this one again. I was so happy to order this but was worried about reviews saying the product was fake. I searched different websites on how to differentiate original and fake ones. Glad I got the original one. This gives real good charcoal black eyes. This is more like a gel liner. I use this on my lower eye line. It smudges after 4-5 hours and needs a light clean up to look good for rest of the day! You can use coconut oil to get everything off before going to bed.

Best eyeliner ever. One application, and you are good for atleast 12 hours (thats for how long i've put it on)Little hard to remove but its worth it.. this is the best eyeliner i could have ever wanted.

The kajal I love the most. I like that it is totally smudge proof and dark.

If I could give a zero star I would. I waited forever for these Kajal pencils to arrive and they finally arrived after almost a month if not more. First use and the name on the pencil started rubbing off. Makes me strongly doubt the genuineness of the product. I’ve used Maybelline Colossal Kajal for years and I’ve never experienced this with any of the pencils I’ve used in the past. Very disappointing purchase, I’m not sure I can return the 2 pencils I bought since it took forever to arrive and it came all the way from India. The eyes are a very sensitive organ of the body so I will not be using this product for my eyes because I’m not sure it’s a genuine Maybelline product. Tossing it right into the bin. Such a big disappointment.

I have been using this product on my eye waterline for more than 10years now and it's perfect. Doesn't smudge, lasts longer, doesn't irritate my eyes. I tried different good products in Canada but I experienced irritation and watery eyes. The seller was also responsive. As per my request, they sent me the product with farthest possible expiry date (2024). Delivery was on commited time.

Defines my eyes clearly. Dark black colour. And true to its words. It's waterproof and does smudge easily.I recommend it to all beautiful girls out there. Buy it without even thinking.

Please do not buy it.. the kajal stick rising mechanism broked twice.. the kajal gets stucked up in the stick n doesn't raise..

A regular user. As ever, for.me, this Maybelline Kajal, is the best .ordered during the great Indian festival got it in a good deal price. No smudge,lasts long I like it ..'
