The moment I opened the bag I knew I had a winner. I bought the silver ones and they are beautiful. These safety pins, as they call them, are very good looking. I will use them for needle felted brooches. They are a perfect size and are strong. At the widest point near the clasp, they are just under 1/2" wide, and are just under 2" long. My patrons will be very impressed with the quality, just as I am.They are a tad rough to pierce through cloth but I fixed that concern right away. I gently sanded (stroked them) down with my glass nail file/s that I purchased here at Amazon. These are the best nail files I have ever used for my fingers and toe nails. And because they are gentle and strong, I knew they would work for these brooch pins. And now the pin goes through fabric easily. Color

I bought gold and silver both to match the tone of jewelry I'm wearing. I use these to turn a lot of my long sleeve summer cardigans and t-shirts into 3/4 sleeve. They are strong enough that you could use them to make the waist of pants fit better. They are a step or two up from regular safety pins in both aesthetics and sturdiness. I saw a picture of 4 and thought I was ordering 4, but when a whole bag of each was delivered I went back to read the description and realized it said 30 pins! So, great value!

I bought these pins to attach for my duvet covers. They look beautiful they’re sturdy. I’m so happy I found them.Also, a great price!

My kitty LOVES to pull the dust ruffle off my bed to the point that I’ve alternated between safety pinning it to the mattress, (which she took on as a personal challenge by unhooking every pin and scampering away with them!), and removing the dust ruffle altogether.Then I found these pins.She’s so frustrated and I’m so happy that I don’t have to look for unhooked safety pins with my bare feet anymore!! She can’t do anything to unhook these pins!!! They work and look like they’ll last forever!!!!!!

I love the look of them. But like someone else mentioned, they are not sharp at all, some less than others. They are very blunt and rough at the point so they will rip through whatever fabric. I may try to sharpen them and see how that helps.
