Necessary tool.
No complaints for these forceps. Right size for pike fishing when unhooking awkward hooks deep within the pikes jaws. Absolute necessary and saves potential injury to both angler and pike. Well crafted and operates smoothly with a nice grippy clamp to secure the hook to aid its extraction. I always clean with a liberal dose of WD40 after each session just to keep the rust at bay and keep them operating efficiently. Worth the money. Thank you.

Will do a job, for the price.
I couldn't manage five stars for this scissor clamp. It was the right price, which included postage, and will probably do a job OK, but I wouldn't call it good quality. The business end is quite poorly/unevenly ground (see pic) and I might have to make some adjustments for them to grip something really fine In summary, it is what it is. A cheaper (and more cheaply made) example of the type. I've had better, (but lost them) but which cost more. I guess from that perspective, if I manage to misplace these, it would be less of a loss. 'You pays your money', I suppose.EDIT. At the same time I bought this curved clamp, I also bought a straight pair, which in fairness, I have to say are much better. The straight ones are more evenly ground and have a much better jaw fit than the curved ones. Perhaps the process is more difficult to perfect with the cranked ones.

Excellent tool
Love the extra length of these. Feels like a sturdy tool and the locking mechanism works wellGood grip strength
User
Ideally suited to my purpose
Perhaps not the highest quality available but very reasonable price and good enough quality for me. Good strong grip and locks well but easy to release. I use them in modelling for many different reasons and I am very pleased with the product generally.
