Adorable, safe, and high quality cups for everyday use!
I really love this brand. Elk and Friends always delivers on quality and peace of mind. These cups are adorable, sturdy, and made with non-toxic glass and food-grade silicone sleeves that help prevent breaks and make them easier for little hands to hold. The silicone straws are soft on gums, and there’s also the option to remove the straw so your child can drink directly from the cup — super versatile! I especially appreciate that they’re BPA-free, phthalate-free, lead-free, and PVC-free, which is very important to me.They’re dishwasher-safe, durable, and work great for water, smoothies, and even snacks.Just a small note: they’re a bit small for my five-year-old, but still usable and honestly perfect for babies and toddlers. We still use them daily and absolutely love them!

Glass > Microplastics.
Not going to lie, these things made me nervous. And still kind of do! However, I’m learning to trust our 1 year old with these and she’s even dropped one of them and it didn’t break. My wife and I slightly fear the amount of microplastics in plastic bottles and that was one of our motivators in transitioning our daughter into the glass bottles. So far, so good! They’re trendy and, while it sounds pretentious, I kind of enjoy answering people when they ask, “Is that glass?!?!”“Why yes, yes it is and yes we trust our one year old with glass”. Lol. We wouldn’t leave her unattended with these but anyway good product. Easy to use, daughter loves drinking out of it, easy to hold, feels high quality. Will probably buy more…. Unless one breaks! Will update this review if that happens.

Best Smoothie cup I found for my 18 month old
Does it leak : This was the big one. Ok, so you do still need to watch them with these cups. My little guy figured out how to get some to come out, but it is not very much and he has to turn it upside down and hold it there and shake hard, and for a minute or two for this to happen. And ever then just a little comes out. but it doesn't leak if they leave it on its side, or when they drink even if they hold it up while they drink. Like I said he has to really try and mostly its what is left in the straw that will eventually come out. All in all I am still impressed with the lack of mess he can make with a smoothie thanks to these cups.Hold - The size is perfect and is so easy for our little one to grip. Reduces them dropping the cup.Durability - It is basically a mason jar wrapped up in silicone, so I was nervous about it breaking. He has dropped it from the counter top to the tile, and it did not break ! Very impressed.Straw - I love that the straw is soft, and it can not come out of the cup once you put the lid on. Our son likes to take straws out, and he can pull it up a little but there is a part on the straw that won't allow it to come out.Color : I love the colors ! We mix and match and he loves getting to choose which color straw, lid, and cup to use.Cleaning : You do have to wash the straw and use the straw cleaner that it comes with to get all of the smoothie seeds and stuff out it, but to me I knew that would have to be done. After that clean up is a breeze. There is the cup, the lid, and the silicon like ring that goes in the lid that is removable (this is how it doesn't leak) but it is really simple to clean. Bottom line, there is no place for the cup to get mold or anything like that. I do leave the silicone that is on the outside of the mason jar on when I wash. And I do hand wash, not because you have to just because I generally hand wash all of his stuff.I tell all the moms I know that are looking for a easy way to serve smoothies about these cups.

Impressive!
LOVE these! So far the quality has been very impressive. I have been wanting glass cups for our little guy for a while, but hesitated as he’s in his throwing stage. These have held up so far from tosses from the high chair, thanks to the silicone sleeves!Easy for my 18 month old to carry around and hold. They are NOT completely spill proof, but that was expected since there is no valve in the straw. The lid is leak proof. They’re also incredibly easy to take apart and clean. The rubber insert on the lids are easily removable, and a standard straw brush works well on the straws. Not sure if they’re advertised as completely dishwasher safe, but I’ve washed them in the dishwasher with no issues so far (top rack, other than the glass itself).

4 month review - sturdy cups, not leak proof
We have had these cups for the past 4 months.Pros: I love that they are glass and not plastic, the silicone is also easily removable to make for easy cleaning. These are also STURDY, my 18 month old has dropped them from his high chair several times and we to have not had any issues with breaking on any of the cups. The silicone also adds a great grip for littles to use. Good capacity and sizeCons: I would NOT call these spill proof. If they are sideways in the floor, water/juice/etc does still leak out of the straw or the opening even if the straw is in itz which is the main reason I am giving this 4 stars. The leaking is usually minimal and slow flowing. Mold and dirt can also build up under the silicone due to trapped moisture so you need to clean this part regularly.Overall would buy again and have enjoyed using these cups

Great straw cup
So far these are great! Love that they came with extra lids that are fully closed in case my toddler doesn’t finish his drink in one sitting. He’s dropped and no issues with breaking. Also are pretty spill proof which has been nice. I appreciate that these are dishwasher safe too. Definitely recommend!

my girl is loving these cups! we trained lightly with a honey bear cup and moved onto these and she got it right away and now loves drinking her water from these! she even drank some of her formula from the cups at mealtime!! they do leak when completely tipped over but it is spill proof and won’t spill when tipped or dropped onto its side! the colors are so cute and i love that they match the plates!
