You know those products that you buy as a seasoned parent & you love them so much that you wish you had purchased it sooner to use with your previous kids? These swaddles are one of those products for me. My son LOVES to be swaddled & practically lives in these ♡Positives:-ORGANIC.-LARGER than other swaddle blankets (these blankets are a bit over 3.6' x 3.6' in size). The extra fabric really makes a difference when swaddling but also makes these blankets perfect to use for more than just swaddling.-SOFT & they seem to only get softer with each wash. The fabric is light, but quality, & fluffy - as a swaddle blanket should be! The softness reminds me of an old tshirt.-EASIER to work with than other brands: these seem to have a bit more "give" to them. I have a set of Aden + Anais swaddle blankets & they sit on a shelf in the closet because I prefer to use these Margaux & May swaddles.-BEAUTIFUL prints: adorable without being babyish. I ordered the blue fern/dark green feather set before my son was born, as we did not know the gender during my pregnancy. The prints are a nice alternative to the typical go-to grey when baby's gender is going to be a surprise. The colors are crisp, pretty & have not faded after the 8 or 9 times I have laundered them.-LASTING. Because the prints are not incredibly babyish & the size is large...I can picture these blankets being used by a toddler to snuggle up with just as easily as I can picture an infant swaddled in one. I feel as though this blanket will get a lot of love throughout the years.-MULTIPLE USES. So far, I have found these blankets useful as a swaddle, on the floor for tummy time, as a nursing cover, as a blanket, as a burp cloth, & as a stroller cover.

I purchased this as a baby shower gift for a friend.Unfortunately, the first set came with a stain on them that did not come out in the wash.I contacted Margaux & May and they apologized and sent a brand new set right away - which was more than I had expected!This means I got a chance to test out the stained set and I LOVE these blankets.I don't have children but I use them around the house for myself and recently took one on vacation with me.For starters, they are large. Not big enough to be a throw blanket, but a nice big square that you could sit two people on.At the airport, I pulled it out and my family of 4 sat on its' corners to play games.These blankets are cool and soft. I didn't overheat when I had the blanket on my lap but it did give me that nice covered feeling I crave sometimes.They also dry easily! My water bottle tipped over in my bag and soaked this blanket. It absorbed all the water (saving my books) and when I draped it over a chair to dry it dried within a half-hour or so.The patterns are super cute and it folds up so nicely I could take it anywhere in a small bag.We even had fun playing with it by making turbans on our heads or dancing with it. It's a great size for those sorts of things.I've only washed this blanket once and it came out just fine.Overall - I would recommend! For swaddling or just to have around the house.

First off, I was given this green feather/blue fern blanket set for free in return for writing a review. However, I have bought four of these blanket sets over the course of two years and paid for them out of my own pocket.I bought a set when my toddler was a newborn and she still is able to use these blankets. She is nearly two years old and these blankets hold their colors well, and more importantly, the edges haven't frayed, and they get softer with each washing. I have included a picture of my new blankets alongside one of my nearly two year old blankets so that you can judge for yourself. These are my go to gift to my local food pantry when they post that a mother needs help getting necessities, that go beyond food, for their babies. I choose these blankets because of their generous size I know that the mothers will be able to get five to six years of use out of these blankets or until their child is large enough to grow out of a toddler bed. I also keep one of these blankets folded and put in a large plastic zip bag for when my toddler gets cold in the refrogerated section of the grocery store and I keep one in the backseat to tuck around her when she's in the carseat.

Have only had these a few weeks but am loving them so far - they're great for swaddling (they have a nice little bit of stretch but not too much) to get nice and snug around baby, and worked great as a sunshade of sorts when we went to the park this week (don't worry, I only set it over half the stroller so baby had plenty of fresh air!). My toddler likes using them as little picnic blankets for her stuffed animals and I like knowing they're organic. I do think it's a bit of a funny artistic choice to have the green be for feathers and blue for fern leaves vs the other way around but that's as picky as I can get! We've washed them multiple times already and I'm glad they don't do the weird rolling-up-at-the-edges thing some of my bamboo swaddles have done. No shrinkage on these and plenty comfortable to the touch.

These are great. We use them everyday either in the car seat, as a swaddle, as a nursing cover and even to lay on the floor. Things to know is it is not stretchy material if you are looking for that kind of swaddle blanket and the print is on one side but you can still see it through the other side. They are thin and may have shrunk when first washed. All in all I would by again and even gift them. These are just what I wanted. A thin swaddle blanket that will last every season. Babies grow to fast so multi use and long lasting is a must. This has it!
