Staedtler 8023 C24-1 Basic Modelling Clay

Decent set, nice colors, quality as expected.

Good choice for a large variety of colors, especially if you are just starting out. It was fresh and easy to condition, colors blended easily, baked up nice an hard, colors stayed true. I would recommend!

The media could not be loaded. Super easy to work with, without being too soft. Bakes well and it's pretty easy to blend colors, not a ton of clay but a good amount to start with. I will definitely be ordering again!

Just got the package. The packaging was terrible ! All the clay was out of the plastic box but still in the bag. The modeling tool that was supposed to be there wasn't there at all, the varnish is I have no idea how old, the brush had dry lumps of varnish on it. And the plastic package is not what's shown in the picture ! In the picture it shows a birdhouse, the actual picture shows pencils like in the second picture here.I was really looking forward to getting this set mostly because of varnish with the brush. And because it shows here the birdhouse, you'd think it would have some kind of instructions. Nothing. Just the safety booklet. It's a disappointment.The only reason I put 2 stars and not 1 is that all 9 blocks of clay were there. I haven't tried it to know whether it's fresh or not, but fimo is good enough to where it can be conditioned even if it's old.

I normally use Sculpey so I was taking a chance when I got this one but it works perfectly well. I was also pleasantly surprised by the pen and the knife!

Love, love FIMO! Everything about this product was exactly as expected and the color variety was perfect. It's as easy to use as this type of clay gets, the quality of the colors, size of the blocks, and the texture/softness product are just right, and this clay can be used for so many creative purposes. Kids and adults used this to make jewelry and found the colors to be unchanged after baking (the gray did change a bit, and looked even better!). The clay was fun for both kids and adults to use with stamps, cut out shapes and cutting tools, and while I am always looking for a bargain, I found the value of this for the money to be just right. If you need larger sizes in some colors, FIMO makes individual colors for purchase as well.

Love the colors. Easy to work with and good for different kinds of crats. Good quality.
