Mouse love
My #2 cat enjoys the Panic Mouse toy, mostly, but she especially enjoys the fluffy black "mouse." She grabs the fluffball with her sharp little teeth, and either pulls the motor unit down, or yanks the wand off the unit entirely. She plays with the mouse by itself, while the string and wand fly around her. She runs in and out of the house, that wand flying behind. The photograph makes it look like the three mice are all on the same wand. I am happy to know that they detach easily, so I can have one, two, or all three mice on the wand. The wire is shorter than the string on the original toy. It doesn't matter.BTW, the wand is driven by the motor unit by way of two plastic gears. One of the gears in the unit I have has two broken teeth (#2 cat is rough and tough!). The wand rotates for a while then gets stuck in one spot. Am I going to buy another Panic Mouse because of two broken plastic teeth? Hmmm.My #1 cat has no interest in Panic Mouse.

Not What it Seems
I felt it was a bit misrepresented. The insinuation was that it would be interchangeable with the Pure Commotion (successor to Panic Mouse) wands. They aren't compatible. The Pure Commotion wand screws onto the machine. The Panic Mouse wand has a clip of sorts. I got it to work for a bit, then gave up. I let my cats have the mice that came with it, and do what they wanted with the wand. I wish I could buy truly-compatible replacement wands and toys for the Pure Commotion.

Wonderful toy. The first day.
My cats went bonkers over the Panic Mouse when I first turned it on, but they quickly developed a tolerance to it. One cat now lies on the floor in front of it and passively whaps it when the mouse wand moves past him. Another cat sits still and allows the wand to "pet" him. A couple other cats quiver in the background and watch the wand spin around with eyes like pinwheels, but they do not interact with it, no matter how fast or slow I set the toy. Perhaps it is the loud whirring noise that puts them off.The Panic Mouse seems sturdy and relatively well made, so I don't plan to write it off just yet. I think younger or more active cats would enjoy this cat toy more than older, lazy cats who just want to be adored. From a safe distance. To date, the best cat toy that gets regular use (and maintains interest) is Da Bird Interactive Feather Cat Toy . That and crumpled up balls of aluminum foil and the string that was once attached to my kitchen timer.

Replacement wand and mice for your panic mouse toy
The kitties love these "mice." The tails don't last long so I guess it's good they come in a pack of 3. I also needed the actual wand part because the other one was really chewed up. They enjoy these even if i wave them around by hand. The panic mouse doesn't hold their interest for very long so it's nice to be able to manually engage them by taking the wand off. if you don't own a panic mouse your cats can still enjoy these.

Fuzzy playtime
My cat loves these fuzzy pompoms! Usually they're ripped off the wand in a few days but then uses them for fetching. (no kidding!) I gave away the actual Panic mouse unit cause the noise scared him but he loves the spider like fuzz balls.

Great toy
The Mouse that these go to is the best!!! I tried putting feathers etc. in place of these balls when my cat would destroy a ball with her back claws fighting with the toy and she wouldn't go near the toy. She loves it as long as it has these black balls flying around.

Panic Mouse Replacement Wand/Mice
My cats love to play with these wands without having them attached to the machine. They carry them all over the house and one cat plays fetch with them. As long as they love them I will continue to buy them for them.

Game is not well made.
I had the game and it is not well made at all. As soon as my cat pounced on it, it stopped running. Very disappointing. Great idea tho.
