Epicurean All in One Slate Cutting Board, 11.5x9-in Juice Groove, Slate

I've been really happy with this cutting board. The size is perfect for everyday meal prep without taking up too much counter space. The non-slip feet keep it securely in place while chopping, and the juice groove does a great job catching liquids when cutting fruits or meats, helping keep the countertop clean. The board feels sturdy but isn't overly heavy, and it's easy to clean. I also like that it doesn't retain odors or stains like some plastic boards. Overall, it's a high-quality cutting board that looks great and performs exactly as expected. I'd definitely recommend it.

I purchased the 14.5" × 11.3" and 11.5" × 9". Both had a noticeable chemical smell after the first few rinses. The smell went away completely after a few rinses over the course of a few days. I didn't put them in the dishwasher until after the smell was already gone. What I really like is that they are lightweight, dishwasher safe, look great, and have nonslip feet on both sides.

So far so good. Hasn't dulled my knives. Like the non-slip feet and juice catcher ridges. Like the fact that it's not plastic and made in the USA. That's important to me.

I was really looking for a way to get rid of my plastic cutting boards and move to something cleaner and safer for home use. This is fantastic. Slim and easy to clean. Pricey but worth it. I will be buying more. Does tend to absorb the flavor of strong foods like garlic or onion, but can easily be cleaned with lemon to get rid of that scent. (Plastic and other wood does the same thing.)

Epicurean cutting boards are the standard. These are all we have used for 15 years. They are easy to disinfect, they do not dull your knives, and they are easy to clean. The plastic corner pieces to come off; though, these are the best butting boards ever. There are some fancy artistic boards that are beautiful; though, Epicurean boards are highly functional and an excellent value. Highly recommended.

I am enjoying the features of this cutting board. It is not thick and is easy to move around the kitchen. I have seen no marks on it after use. It is easy to clean and there is no worry about germs getting into the board. My daughter has had an Epicurean cutting board for 27 years. It has been used frequently and looks the same as it did when it was new. (I had 7 wooden and 1 plastic cutting boards during the same number of year. They had cut marks and were hard to clean. I replaced each when it looked as if germs could hide in it.)

I wanted to love this board. We had a cheap IKEA plastic cutting board for the longest time, but we were concerned with plastic exposure and and I didn't wanna deal with wood boards either, that's why we went with this one. The cutting board is great. Its big, it's sturdy, it washes easily. The only difference to plastic or wood boards is that the knifes clacks loudly when cutting. But that was easily worth it. However, what's not acceptable for a premium board like this is that it bent after just 3 months of usage. We exclusively hand wash the board and never put anything hot on it, even still, it's bent so bad in the middle that the rubber dots on the edges don't connect anymore and the board starts rotating while cutting. We now need to flip the board, which still works, but we loose the grooves to catch food and liquid. I expected more of this board and brand - disappointing

I've been using this cutting board for more than half year and I'm very pleased with how well it performs. The size is just right for everyday meal prep, and the built-in juice groove keeps counters clean when cutting juicy fruits or meats. What I like is it's gentle on knife edges quickly, this one keeps my knives sharp even after lots of use. Also the Anti-slip rubber on all four corners work exactly as promised. The board stays put while I chop, slice, or dice, making prep safer and more efficient. Overall, this cutting board serves its purpose perfectly. Highly recommended!
