I'm using them with my mixer during our band's live shows!
This is the kind of splitter you need to use an "insert" jack on a mixer - it takes a dual-mono source and splits it to a blue and a red side (L + R or Send/return). I'm currently using them on my mixer for sending custom mixes to our monitors and I'm also using one as an insert (send/receive) for an outboard reverb unit. The length is perfect, they are quiet, nicely marked and seem to be well made. I'm happy, my band is happy.

I picked this cable up for use with my 4003 Rickenbacker bass, to utilize the "Ric-O sound" separating the two pickup paths from one stereo jack to two mono jacks. Works like it should.

Thick Cables/ Good quality
Nice thick Cables with Velcro loops. I'm extremely picky about studio cables, and these are excellent quality. I bought two of these to fix a bad ground loop issue, and it all worked out far better than expected. I really wish more brands were made this good.

Great for my Headphone Stereo System
I used these for my recording studio. I went from my 16 channel mixer to my headphone mixer. Taking the stereo jack, separating to discrete left and right channels to my headphone monitor unit. Excellent.
