If you want to eat healthfully with a plant based diet, but want a wee bit of the ocean/fishy tasted.....just put some of these on your pasta or stir fry. I especially like them mixed in with pasta, not the tomato based pasta but a simple pasta mixed with some shrooms and sliced olives, maybe some chopped red sweet pepper for color, and a little olive or truffle oil, and topped with veggie parmesan.

I don't like to be that person that writes a negative review, but this product is not elible for a return or refund. :( I've ordered many dulse products over the years, and am very familiar with what is fresh and good quality, and what is not. This is not. The flavor is way off, the product is quite dry (usually good dulse has some small amount of softness, even dried), and it just doesn't seem to be good. I'm sorry the company won't honor a refund or return here. This was a waste of money.

I agree with other people saying that those flakes do not brake up in smoothies. I tried to grind them in coffee grinder, it did not work at all, they still stayed whole. I did find a trick to work with them - you have to soak them, and just pour them with soaking water in to blender. About flavor, I use it in vegetable smoothie, like raw soup, so I can handle it, but I think product what they use is old, that is why it taste like an old fish.
