Gaiam Yoga Block, EVA Foam for Balance & Stretch

Nice weight, stable, firm and excellent quality. Best yoga block I’ve ever had! Good value. Allows me to train in many different yoga poses and rehab body exercises.

Great lightweight but sturdy block. The size feels good in my hand and the cork material Is very comfortable.

Good things about these blocks specifically: - 9 x 6 x 4 inches - many cheaper blocks are 9 x 6 x 3. - Smooth surface. - Lots of colors to choose from. I like this "frost" color. It's teal. - Get the job done. I chose this brand because it's affordable AND this is the brand of yoga block that they had at the yoga studio I used to go to. Those blocks were years old and well-loved but they maintained their structural integrity. They do get dented, but they don't crumble or anything, which is a risk with foam. If you want yoga blocks that don't get dented, spend more money. A dented block is still a block, you know. I also bought a two-pack of blocks in gray from another one of Gaiam's listings. They're the same. Just buy the cheapest ones or the color you like best.

It isn't the same exact one as I'm used to from the gym, but it works and I like it. The color choices were great and the block is supportive. I am a Gaiam shopper, and I have to say that the Gaiam name is dependable. My mat is from there, too. I had to make a return to Gaiam and they were great about doing so promptly, completely and politely. The block is a little shorter than I expected, but that takes away nothing in regard to using it. It is durable and doesn't get grungy.

I like cork over foam ones as they are less slippery and have a good weight the them classic design and right size for any yoga practice. Has very firm support and I’m pleased with value

I am brand new to yoga and I absolutely love my new yoga block. I also purchased a Gaiam yoga mat and Gaiam yoga strap. I highly recommend ordering all three if you are new to yoga. The block is a huge help for beginners. Since I am new to yoga I went to youtube to see exactly how a yoga block is used. Got great tips there and I also ordered three beginner yoga DVD's from Amazon. All were a big help in getting started. This block is a must for beginners. I noticed a reviewer than complained about this block being overpriced which I can't understand. Yes, it is a bit more expensive than others but I happen to like the design on it and it goes great with the Gaiam yoga mat I chose. I didn't mind spending a few dollars more because I like how it looks. There's nothing wrong with that. It serves a purpose and looks good too. In fact I would like to have a second one just like this one. Everyone has different taste. Some people like something more plain and others, like myself, appreciate the design. Keep up the great design Gaiam. Love it and appreciate it!

the title says it all. If your hands get sweaty, it might squeak! but it's not even enough to get a 4 stars instead of a 5!
