Most suction of any vacuum Ive ever used!
The reviews that stated this vacuum will suck itself to the floor are true. It has monster suction. On its highest setting it will still suck itself down on my carpet at times. It will also pull more dirt from your carpets than youve ever seen, yes the decals will peel off after a few months too. I think this would be a good vacuum for an older person as it is extremely light weight except for the sucking itself down to the floor may be an issue as it takes some effort to get it loose or just shut it off and restart. Very easy to remove and dump the canister. You do have a little assembly to do before using, 4 or 5 phillips screws to install the upper handle assy. When using the hose and attachments you have to turn a knob to the hose position then turn it back when you want floor suction. Before you start to vacuum you will need to pick up anything you dont want wrapped up in the brush roller as this thing is a Monster. You cant drive over the vacuum wire with this vacuum as it will be damaged in seconds its a Monster. Cant leave leave it sitting on your carpet long while using the hose and attachments because the brush doesnt stop turning when you bring it up into a locked position you will have no carpet in that location. I lay the vacuum on its back when I use the hose or just pick it up with one hand vacuum with the other. Its a very plain looking vacuum and may appear cheap but so far has held up well its a Monster. This is a very manual vacuum that has Tremendous suction it does leave rows in your carpet if you have the carpet height setting real low. You DO NOT want to run over any extension cords or anything with this vacuum its a Monster. Overall I really like this vacuum, I would purchase again in a second but its a Monster becareful with it it could suck your cat or small dog up into it in a split second because its a Monster. Good Luck! UPDATE: OK after having this vacuum for awhile I still like it but it still sucks itself down to the carpet and makes it very hard to push and pull. I have found something that makes this not so bad. The knob in which you turn to transfer suction from the hose to the floor and vice versa dont turn it all the way to the floor suction setting let it suck through the hose a little and it still has plenty of suction to pick up most anything on your floor but not suck itself down. You can fine tune where the knob needs to be just before it starts to suck itself down and make a mark with a sharpie on the white housing where the pointer is pointing that way you know where to set it each time. Hope this is helpful for some. ANOTHER UPDATE: Ive had this vacuum now for 3 years, it still works perfectly. However the brush is starting to wear a little and now I have to adjust the setting lower but thats ok I still Love it. No problems whatsoever. Do not be affraid to purchase this vacuum as it is well worth the price in my opion.

Get this vacuum!!
I have a Bissell, before the Bissell I had a Hoover. They have all done the job. Well the bissel has been around for a loooooong time. It just ain't what it use to be. After a very long night of reviews, pics, and searching. I knew I didn't wanna spend alot of money cause we all know we are all on a budget with inflation but these carpets needed a good vacuum. I came across the vacmaster. Not name brand so I was a little hesitant. Read all the comments , reviewed on all search engines. I seen more reviews on how excellent the suction power was and how this was my next vacuum. I held it in the cart for some days to ponder on my purchase. I decided YOLO.. get the vacuum, trust the comments, and reviews. Oh MAN, I was actually surprised. The actual size is the same as a normal vacuum. Same pieces , parts, removable parts, filter all the stuff that come with a standard vacuum. Doest look fancy as a Bissell, Hoover or shark. I was skeptical, I know looks don't matter don't come at me. Anyways- you have to put some parts together upon arrival. Was not bad. Then on the the vacuuming part. 1. The cord is extra extra long THANK YOU FOR THAT. I don't have to unplug it from one side and plug it into another outlet on the other side. 2. It has multiple settings for carpet length. The switch is easy to move up or down. THANK YOU again, the other vacuums I have are difficult to move. 3. The pieces that come with it are securely attach they do not fall off with a bump or a hard turn or jerk. THANK YOU again. Annoying when your vacuuming and the pieces fall off. Ugh. 4. It picked up the actual dirt that settles in the carpet. I swear you guys you would not believe the amount of dirt that came from my already clean carpet. I was shook. You will have to see it to believe it. 5. When you attach the pieces you do NOT LOOSE SUCTION POWER. AGAIN, THANK YOU FOR THAT. Other vacuums loose their suction power when you transition to the side pieces (🤣) Sorry, child mindset here.. moving on.. The pictures I posted are of the vacuum , already clean carpet, and a pic of the stuff it picked up. Now, I have already used this vacuum 3x on said carpet. It was ALOT MORE DIRT THE FIRST 2X. Guys, I am saying GET THIS VACUUM! YOU WILL NOT REGRET. Those others can not compete. My ocd of dirty for carpet has calmed down knowing I just got the dirt out!

Powerful suction, the height setting wonky
I like that it's powerful except that it will sort of jump between the height setting levels on its own. I'll set it for vacuuming a low pile carpet, but when it goes over the edge of the carpet onto the floor, on the return, it digs into the carpet like it's got rubber bumpers. I end up having to grab the vacuum with both hands and push it with all my might just to get it to move on the carpet that it just was vacuuming perfectly fine before it went off the edge onto the floor and back. It's annoying as hell to be honest. And then, if I'm lucky, it'll go back to normal vacuuming. It's like a car that the automatic transition transmission jumps in and out of gears. I have two shag carpets and on one it works smooth as butter and on the other it jumps in and out of gears from being manageable to requiring the hulk to move it. It's a little heavier than my usual vacuums, but then I'm used to buying ultra cheap Walmart ones and this one is better quality. I don't know how long or how often that brush level self adjustment glitch is going to last. It's been about 6 months and it's still doing it. I'm too lazy to go through trying to return it, even though it's probably too late. Yes, I do know to manually select the carpet levels on the front of the vacuum. I'm pretty mechanical and I've tried to determine how the mechanism might be malfunctioning, but I can't without taking it completely apart. Not worth it to me. At least when I vacuum now, I don't need to go to the gym.

Effortless Cleaning Awaits: The Game-Changing Vacuum That Delivers!
I recently purchased the Vacmaster Upright Vacuum Cleaner, and it has completely transformed my cleaning routine. Here’s a detailed review of my experience with this exceptional product. Powerful Suction Performance: The first thing I noticed was the impressive suction power of this vacuum. It easily tackles everything from pet hair to embedded dirt on both carpets and hard floors. I have a couple of pets, and this vacuum does an outstanding job of picking up fur that other vacuums often leave behind. The suction is strong enough to handle deep cleaning, yet it adjusts nicely for delicate surfaces, ensuring I don’t damage my hardwood floors. User-Friendly Design: The Vacmaster is designed with usability in mind. The 20-foot cord provides ample length, allowing me to clean large areas without constantly switching outlets. The cord wraps around the vacuum neatly, which keeps things tidy when I store it. The 13-inch cleaning path is efficient, allowing me to cover more ground in less time, and the lightweight design makes it easy to maneuver around furniture and tight spaces. Versatile Cleaning Options: This vacuum is incredibly versatile. It transitions seamlessly from carpets to hard floors, which is a huge plus in my multi-surface home. The height adjustment feature is intuitive, and I appreciate that I can switch modes effortlessly. The included attachments, such as the crevice tool and upholstery brush, further enhance its versatility, enabling me to clean corners and furniture with ease. Bagless Convenience: Being bagless is a game changer. The dustbin is easy to remove and empty, and I love being able to see when it needs to be emptied. The filtration system does a fantastic job of trapping dust and allergens, which is crucial for my family’s health. The easy-to-clean filters are a nice touch, ensuring that maintenance is straightforward. Build Quality and Design: The build quality is solid, and it feels durable enough to withstand regular use. The overall design is sleek and modern, which makes it visually appealing. It doesn’t take up much space in my closet, and I appreciate the thoughtful design that combines aesthetics with functionality. Final Thoughts: Overall, my experience with the Vacmaster Upright Vacuum Cleaner has been outstanding. It combines powerful suction, versatility, and user-friendly features, making it one of the best vacuums I’ve ever used. Whether you have pets, kids, or just a busy household, this vacuum is an excellent investment. I wholeheartedly give it five stars and recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable, effective cleaning solution. It has truly made my cleaning tasks easier and more efficient!

Use Distilled Water - 90 cents @ Walmart
The steam mop is NOT a gimmick. Gave as an early xmas gift to an elderly individual and the person couldn't be more pleased. And this is a hard person to convince. She uses it on the floors, the rugs, the bathroom, stove, you name it. It is a larger house and she has no issues getting around with it. The amount of dirt it picked up on the linoleum floors was ridiculous and it is much easier on the back then lugging a wet mop around. It is super easy to use, just make sure you only use distilled water and DONT put cleaners/chemicals in the machine. If you want to use cleaners then use a spray bottle with the mixture and spray on the area you want to clean BEFORE you use the steam mop. Plus Vacmaster is a brand you see at Home Depot and the unit doesn't feel light or cheap at all. Steam heats up in about 20 seconds and it is ready to go. My advice is to move a little slower when cleaning, it is not a vacuum cleaner. The removable mop heads clean up after just 5 minutes soaking in a bucket of water with detergent. You may not even need to throw them in the washing machine after every use. This will even work on cleaning automotive engine bays in about 10 minutes. Everybody should have one of these around the house.

DO NOT GET
I spent several days researching and going through countless reviews for vacuum cleaners here on Amazon. I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just something to get the job done for a decent price. Well I saw this and read the reviews and they seemed great! I couldn't believe I stumbled upon such a great deal for a great vacuum such as this! Shipping was fast and I was so excited to try it! My apartment is about 900 square feet of regular carpet, not shag or thick like a rug. Assembly was easy enough and within 10 minutes it was plugged in and I started with the guest bedroom where there's not a lot of traffic. Well, there was no vacuum lines, just wheel marks and when I checked the canister to see how much dirt/hair it got there was nothing. Okay well maybe because there's not a lot of use in this room. Fast forward and I do my bedroom and living room where there's lots of traffic, and still NOTHING. I had the suction set to the highest setting, went through and checked to make sure I put it together correctly, even tried it on a rug! And still nothing! I have 2 cats and when I used my Dyson I had to empty the canister 3 times when I'd vacuum my apartment. This vacuum didn't get a single crumb of cat litter, no dirt..only a few of my long hairs. It was incredibly frustrating because the reviews were amazing! So don't waste your money or time with this, it literally picks up nothing. I'm not sure if I received a defective one or not but even after going through the troubleshooting it still picked up nothing. Tried to get a refund and return it but all I received was half credit back on my Amazon account even though I only used it once and scrubbed it clean just to make sure any dust was gone. I ended up going to Walmart and buying the Bissel Cleanview Swivel Pet Bagless Vacuum and spent only about 30$ more than this and that thing is amazing! Works even better than the $500 Dyson I had and has all the attachments.

This Sucks
Okay, I've only had this vacuum for 2 days. I replaced it with a $300 Shark vacuum that lasted me for years but the Shark was complicated with so many buttons and attachments and push items to detach parts to move on to another task. It lasted me over 10 years but I put it to rest after it died 2 weeks ago. Prior to that I had a Kenmore Elite vacuum that cost $220.00. It was a powerhouse but after numerous repairs I let it go. So I was looking at vacuums again on Amazon and I read the reviews on the top brands like Dyson, Bissell, Shark, etc...thinking that I'd once again I'd have to shell out hundreds of dollars for something decent for carpet and wood floors. These top brands had crappy reviews, not only on Amazon but Best Buy, Lowes, Home Depot and their own dang websites. Complaints were everywhere from being cheap and parts breaking off as well as the motors dying prematurely and those with batteries complained of the batteries lasting only 15-30 minutes. So I accidentally ran into this no frills Vacmaster vacuum for $60. I thought if it lasted me a year, it might be a decent investment until the top brands improved. It took me all of 10 minutes to assemble it. Instructions were straight forward and rather easy to understand. It is plastic and light weight. It has the few attachments I actually use and need. There are no bells and whistles but this baby has really strong suction. Better than any other vacuums I've owned in the past. I wonder how it holds up so may have to update this post later. Last but not least, I parked it in the closet when finished and it not only took less space than the previous one but was easy to pick up with 1 hand. Wish me luck!

Nice Vacumn Except...
After seeing many good reviews about this vacuum, I bought it in April, but did not actually start using it until July 2020. I used it once & my cleaning lady used it once after I used it. The suction is very good. The vacuum is a little heavier than I like, but it was still o.k. The assembly was pretty easy, The customer service is not the best if you have any issues, but I won't go into that. I had a warranty for a year on the vacuum, and I even took another 3 year warranty for when the original one expires, which it has now done. Update - It's now 8/25/24 and I have owned this vacumn since 4/18/20, so about 4 1/2 yrs, which is pretty good for a $79 vacumn. The vacumn has actually run very well during that time, but I only use it once a month (about 50 times). It has now started making a very loud noise when running. When I checked manual, it said if that happens probably a blockage someone. I checked all the hoses - no blockage. I checked filter & washed it, checked dust container and opening into container, but there was nothing in any of those. I took the cover on bottom off and checked brush and belt - both were fine. I finally called service & the young lady I spoke with (though very nice) it was obvioius she was reading from the same owner's manual I have and said exactly what it said, if noisy, check for blockage. I don't think it has anything to do with the motor, because suction is still very good, just so noisy you can't use it. She offered no further advice except to call a repair shop. I guess I will be buying another vacumn because I can't use it the way it is and to take it somewhere for repair where they'll charge me probably $125 to just look at it isn't worth it. So will be buying a new one, but not this brand.
