How long are you supposed to leave it in?

Although it does NOT come with any directions at ball; I have left it in my hair for 5 minutes. Now I realize this is unnecessary since it does NOT work at all. It does NOT help re-color your hair. My hair is still grey after now using 4 bars of this stuff. DO NOT waste your money on it.

Does this actually work, will it cover up the grey after the first use or does it take time?

For me I used the whole bar and my hair did not get darker. this dose not mean it don't work just not for me, but I am almost all grey too. On a positive note, for the price, it is a great Organic shampoo. My hair was really shiny and healthy looking. Compared to other shampoos, I will give it a thumbs up and the price is fair as well.

How long are you supposed to leave it in?

It works for me what I do I put it in a container and mix it well them apply to hair as you would apply the other hair dyes with a brush and i.leave it on for 30.minutes to hours like if I'm cooking I will leave it on and rinse off when done. It goes well.with my hair I love the product
