Review: Reviewed Computer Chair I Love on desertcart - Computer Chair on desertcart I Reviewed I am 82 years old, and this is the BEST computer chair I have ever owned! The previous chair was a "bully-type" that kept pushing my back forward causing me no end of discomfort and constantly trying to make adjustments. Before purchasing this new chair, I read all the comments and realized that almost all negative ones were written years ago. What I wanted the most was a chair that was rock able (which I hoped would not fight my back). I am so happy with this new chair! It goes low enough for my 5' 4" body and the so comfortable rocking is amazingly wonderful. The rocking deserves 5+ stars. The armchair fabric appears stronger than the seat and back, but I may be wrong. From experience with other computer chairs which seemed covered in thinnish Vinal-type material (similar in feel as this chair) I bought it knowing I need to check it for spots of nicking or wear and tear. If any appear I will purchase the strongest mending tape I can find, in order to keep it in nice looking shape. I bought the black chair just in case. Assembly was pretty easy following the YouTube video. The only problem we had was in screwing the arms into the seat and back. TIP: Before trying to screw the bolds in the seat and back, look closely at the holes in both seat and back and clear away any blocking foam or fabric that blocks the bolts from entering cleanly. I used tweezers mostly, but I did use scissors on a couple of the holes. I found that it was best if I pushed the foam and fabric down around the bolt receptacle with my fingers before screwing in the bolt. I don't fault the manufacturer because I don't know how to prevent this problem. If the manufacturer would consider adding a suggestion in the instructions to check and clear any stuck-on foam backing or material on the female bolt receptacle and carefully removing it, I know I would have been most appreciative. The only negative thing I have against the chair is the lumbar support that hits my back in an uncomfortable place. I plan on buying a nice thick wheelchair pad to put me higher on the chair, and placing a small pillow in the space below the bar and seat cushion. This complaint is something that I can take care of myself and I realize that we have our different height and weight and for the most part nothing would stop me from buying this chair again. Review: Great Chair!! - Let me start by saying that I'm the some-assembly-required person everyone in the family goes to around the gift giving holidays. Can't put it together, give it to me. Now that I've said that, let me also say that this was a bitch to put together. Not at first, but at the end. The last bolt. People on here have said that it didn't line up for them, but mine lined up just fine. Mind, you have to keep the bolts loose on one end (the metal base attaching to the chair) so the other end lines up. Don't tighten one after another immediately, only after you've got all 4 bolts in and slightly secured, then tighten them down. I had this problem on the last bolt in the arm rest attaching to the back of the chair. It was lined up, but apparently not enough. I had to lay this on it's side and grapple with lining it up perfectly, then applied pressure and got the bolt in. I now hate Allen wrenches. Now onto the chair itself. It doesn't say anywhere on the product page that this sucker can lean back! I've always loved those kind of chairs and didn't know this one did it, until I sat down to find I could rock back and forth. YES!! That was a nice find. The chair is very comfortable for me as I am a book cover artist and am constantly at my desk. The bit of chair in the small of my back is great and the chair back is tall. It's damn near the top of my head. I'm 5'7 nearly 5'8" and my feet dangle just slightly when it's at its full height. I have a tall desk, so it's great for that! The chair is heavy, once fully assembled. And I won't lie that some reviews are right and that it does smell slightly of gasoline at first, but I got rid of that with some Febreze extra strength that I had around. Overall it's a great chair, despite being surprised at how much the shipping was, it was worth it. We'll see if I continue to say that after a few months.

A: I am an American living in Romania, and I also wish amazon and many others would ship here.

As others have said, its the crooks in the system. And then if it actually makes it to your city the customs office will hit you with a tax. So, its not worth the hassle for the buyer or the seller...

**Q: Does this chair give the ability to "lean back"?**
A: I personally am too short to make the chair lean back, my feet barely touch the floor. However, my husband did figure out that it has a slight recline if you just lean back. Not sure exactly how much of a recline but, I would estimate somewhere around 5-10 degrees back from upright

**Q: Does this chair offer decent back support? Most chairs at this price don't provide any options for decent posture.**
A: Excellent back support, I'm 6'4" tall and weigh 265 pounds.  I use the chair and it is great.

**Q: Why is this only for women? its a chair. it would seem sexist to just say its only for women, same for a chair that can be only for men.**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ So far so good. I have had the same computer chair for ...

So far so good. I have had the same computer chair for probably.... 10-12 years. It has served me well, but it has finally started to show its signs of wear. It was hard for me to find a computer chair without a review saying "Padding wore out in 2 days!" or "Chair broke when I sat in it the first time!". So I finally pulled the trigger on this one for $89.00. Shipping was super fast, I received the chair 6 days before the earliest possible date. Box had a few dings, but its a big box thats to be expected. The chair was easy to put together. I don't understand these reviews thinking you need PhD to put this thing together. I put it together by myself in under 10 minutes. The key to this is, don't crank down on the first screw you put in. Put all the screws in and hand tighten them, then like changing a car tire, go to each screw and tighten it just a little doing opposite corners. Pop the chair on to the base, then the back pivots down (already has 2 screws in it from the manufacturer), and you can put the bottom 2 screws in. Holes lined up perfectly, but just like the base tighten each side in equal increments. Don't tighten one side all the way or I can see where it would cause a problem in the other side fitting. Now this is where it gets 4 stars from me. The top 2 screws that hold the back of the chair to the armrests, that were already in it from the manufacturer, move when you lean back in the chair, just a bit... but its enough to notice. Okay no big deal... just tighten those up a hair.... EXCEPT the Alan wrench they sent you IS TOO SMALL for the screws. They used different screws for the top than the ones you install yourself. So I have to wait until I head to our shop in the morning and get a bigger Alan wrench to tighten them up. Small inconvenience for me, could be big for someone else. I don't understand why they couldn't use the same size screws. Comfort is very nice, its firm but not like sitting on a brick. The back has good padding and good lumbar for me. The seat so far feels very nice, and the arm rests have a good amount of padding in them. I'm 5'7 150 lbs and my feet sit flat on the ground at the lowest setting. The chair does sit a bit higher than my old one, and will take a bit of adjusting when playing games. Since there are no dimensions, I figured I'd list a few since this is a problem I ran into, maybe it will help someone else. Floor to Seat - 19" Floor to Arm rest (highest in middle) - 27" Seat to Top of Headrest - 28.5" Armrest to Armrest (inside) - 20" I would recommend this chair so far!
