NeoStrata SKIN ACTIVE Exfoliating Wash, 4.2 oz

I bought this cream on a recommendation from a facialist. I liked the way that it felt on my skin, but my cheeks started breaking out horribly from it. I have never had acne like that, my skin is generally clear, with one or two pimples a month, but this was at least ten at a time, on each cheek. I used it for about three months before I realized that the acne was caused by the NeoStrata. I had recently moved and thought that it was the new environment/water, since I didn't think that something recommended by someone who works with skin, and told me it would clear up minor blemishes would actually make it a whole lot worse. I stopped using it about three weeks ago, just went back to Olay and Cetaphil, and my skin is beautifully clear again. I know that this works for some people, and it may just be my skin reacting differently, but this was definitely the cause of my breakouts. It's just unfortunate that I spent so much money on this, as well as some other NeoStrata products before I realized it.

Excellent product for aging skin

My skin is super fair, sensitive, dry, and prone to red spots. In combination with the NeoStrata Eye Therapy and NeoStrata Ultra Smoothing Cream, this face wash has really made my skin bright and glowing. It diminished the fine lines on my forehead and around my mouth in fewer than two weeks. Just bear in mind that this stuff will sting and irritate for the first week or two of use. I broke out the first ten days I was using it and panicked a little; but it turns out that's what happens when the alpha hydroxy acid first goes to work on the junk that's hiding under your skin.

As always this product never disappoints and the delivery was fast and the price was right.

I just opened this product because I had purchased another previously. Just want you to know the dispenser in defective. I have to push it three or four times with no results....then the next push will give an outpour of the product. Such a waste as I cannot use that much in one wash.

An essential if you have textured or blemish prone skin. A cosmetic dermatologist first recommended it to me, and I haven't stopped using since.Great at removing makeup too!Protip: Avoid using a facial brush as this already performs exfoliation. I usually wash once in the morning and double cleanse before bed.

I haven't been using this product for long so I'm unable to say what the future benefits will be, but so far it cleanses my face brilliantly and leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth.
