Vriksasana Groin Hip Brace | Sciatica Support Wrap | Hamstring Compression Sleeve for Men and Women for Pulled Quadriceps Thigh Muscle, Hip Flexor Strain, Bursitis and Arthritis (Left Leg)

I bought this in hopes of it helping severe sciatica caused by the piriformis muscle compressing the sciatic nerve. It does not remove all pain because it is a long healing process and I didn't expect it to be a miracle cure. With this brace I can actually walk again with only minor discomfort as opposed to excruciating pain crippling the use of my right leg. My first day using it, I was able to get through the grocery store without assistance or crouching / stopping to relieve pain before continuing to walk. I was also able to stand and cook a whole dinner. I don't find it to be too hot and it's comfortable to wear, even while sleeping. I assume it's helping because it stabilizes the muscles and keeps nerve irritation to a minimum. I am 5'5", 110 lbs and have no issues with the size as it accommodates a petite frame very well. The instructions say to wrap the waist first but I find it very painful to then reach down to secure the thigh so I wrap the thigh first and it's easier to do minor adjustments once there is some pressure. It's important to understand your underlying problem when deciding whether it's a good product as it may not help all issues, but for my problem the relief is amazing. I still have to be careful but at least I have some mobility to keep up with small children now.

I'd tried one other brace that's very similar to this. Unlike the other, this one works best for right-sided hip/SI/groin issues. The other brace is advertised for use on either side, but when used on the right side, the velcro straps fasten in the back which made it incredibly tricky to get on. This one is also advertised the same, but is designed in reverse so the right side has the straps in front. That said, if you need left hip support, I'd pick a different one. I also found this fits better and doesn't have as much of a rubber/chemical smell. The leg portion doesn't pinch or rub in sensitive areas and the waist strap sits comfortably just below the navel and around the top of the ilium. This doesn't completely eliminate my pain (hip flexor/SI/LBP), but I didn't expect it to. It does provide the stability I was looking for so I'm better able to function and heal. For reference, I'm female, 5'4, 154lbs.

I am suffering from hip bursitis and it is so painful. The cream and ibuprofen that I use wasn’t helping the pain and it was affecting my mobility. I read a lot of reviews and decided on this one because someone said it was best for right hip , it stayed put and was well made. The most important reason was the description listed hip bursitis. I was a bit skeptical if it would work but I was in so much pain I decided to give it a try.. When I first put it on I said this doesn’t work I am still in pain ..then in about 15 minutes and I mean 15 minutes I started to feel pain relief. I was surprised and very happy that it relieved most of the pain. I am walking without limping.. This is my first day with the product and I had to write the review .it is amazing for me and I highly recommend this hip brace Th only con is when you sit it can be a bit uncomfortable but not enough to cause problems.

This brace is well made but it cut off my circulation and did nothing to relieve my pain. It is easy to adjust on the right leg, I did not try it on the left.

I was skeptical about how effective this would be. I pulled my hamstring last week and I have been avoid exercising since. This groin wrap has been a live saver! It is thicker than the other neoprene leg wraps I purchased, so it provides more support and compression in the area needed. I am able to exercise (run) again! It is lightweight and does not restrict motions. And I especially love the 3-strap design, which made it so easy to minor adjust the tightness in the hamstring area. The brace also stays in place the whole time while I exercise. Love it!

We ended up returning this item because it was difficult to wear because you had to completely undress to go to bathroom.

I can't recommend this product enough! I am fairly thin and the groin wraps I've tried in the market are usually too loose for me. Although this wrap fits a wide range of sizes, I was able to tighten it snuggly around my legs thanks to the three-closure design. The middle closure/strap is slightly wider and it just provides the perfect compression I need in the exact spot. It feels a bit warm when put on (it makes me sweat), but it is also quite comfortable because of the breathable material. I don't even need to use the heating pad anymore. This brace is supportive and therapeutic! If you experience any thigh/groin injuries, please give this product a try!

This was great for my TFL pain and I loved it but after a couple uses i notices the seam holding the two pieces together is coming unsewn and it no longer provides stability and I'm afraid to wear it and have it fall apart on me.

Despite it being different from extremely much cheaper ones, difference is so slight why is the price so rude- Wore it for a few weeks at work all day and stopped for 6 weeks with NO issues until now ill use again for a short time.
