I've bought individual kitchen utensils like spatulas and spoons from brands like Kitchenaid and Farberware. A couple spatulas were $8 a piece, but they ended up getting worn down pretty easily over time, I think due to the heat in the pans since it was largely along the ends of the spatulas and spoons. When I first opened it, I was surprised by the weight and quality of the utensils. I've only used this set for a few months, but it hasn't shown any kind of wear at all yet. The only real complaint I have is that if you wash it in the dishwasher, the silicone always seems to get that white residue on it no matter what. But it can be rinsed off or just hand washed. I'm not docking it for this because it's something I've noticed with any silicone products in the dishwasher.There's some super minor cosmetic problems I had with a couple things like the silicone molds not being 100% perfect on some things like the spatula holder. Also, the utensil holder is very cheap. It's a durable but light plastic and you can only comfortably fit a fraction of the utensils in it. It'll work fine if you just want a few things within reach, otherwise I suggest getting a bigger and higher quality utensil holder. I researched for weeks before buying new cooking utensils, and these seemed the best option to me. Previously, I had nylon cooking utensils that did not do well under high heat at all. They(my old utensils) melted into my food and cookware and it was so infuriating. So, when I saw these high heat resistant silicone utensils I was exciting.Upon receiving and unboxing these I was surprised by the weight and sturdiness! They feel great in your hand, and I don't worry about them bending or breaking under pressure or heavy food. They are holding up great to daily use and so far are high heat resistant. Overall, I'm really pleased with these! They are seriously great, and not just "great for the price" but actually great! The only issue that I have had so far and the only reason that I gave three stars instead of five, is because the handles hold water. You cannot submerge them in water to soak them, nor put them in the dishwasher without the handles filling with water. This is an issue for me because it could rust the handles and slowly leak out into food. It's very difficult to get the water out of the handles as well, the only way I've found is to vigorously shake the utensil, which slings water everywhere and almost pulled my shoulder, and there was still a bit of water left inside the handle. One of the selling points of these for me was the fact that they were dishwasher safe and now I cannot put them in the dishwasher. However, even with that, I'd still purchase these again because otherwise the quality is phenomenal. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Water Spots *by M***B on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on August 14, 2020* I don't have a review for the use of the set, as I just got them today, but I wanted to share that these did indeed hold water spots after washing (dishwasher). I'm certain this won't impact use of the utensils but it is unsightly...which is why they will live in the drawer as opposed to the utensil holder.UPDATE: I've had the set for 1.5 months now. When I first bought the set, I was using some Finish dishwasher tabs that I had been gifted. Now, I'm using my regular Cascade gel dishwasher tabs and I must say this is what's made the difference with the water spots. Now that I'm using the gel tabs, there are no water spots. I have cooked with the set and the set works wonderfully.
