Love the Kona
I have been happy with Kona black fabric for a long time, and this was no exception. I received excellent service from the company. My four yard piece was about 1/2 inch short, and they included a sizeable extra piece, which more than made up for the 1/2 inch shortage. Just a word to those who have not used Kona before, it does shrink, so be sure to prewash. Also bleeds some, so wash alone or use some kind of dye grabber. The colors stay true, however. Must be magic!

Good quality fabric for screen printing, although a little thin...
Fabric is thinner than I was expecting but is actually good quality. I bought this to screen print band patches with, and so far it's working out ok. Been screen printing for over 15 years... Since I'm using the fabric to make band patches, they should be durable considering what they're used for (sewing onto denim jackets or jeans), but the fabric is a bit thin. Just wish the material was twice as thick -- at least it prints well! So maybe the patches won't last as long, but they look great, and that's what I wanted.

Soft but Sturdy
Love this fabric! It's softer and doesn't feel as cheap as your average 100% cotton. Doesn't fray as easily, either. The jet black is deeper than regular black - looks richer. Used vinegar when I pre-washed it to address any bleeding.

Highly recommended!
Love the way they fit! These are loose enough not to bind, yet stay up without slipping down! I reordered another set after the first day I wore them! I recommend buying them!

Bang for your buck!
This fabric is crisp, yet drapey enough for dresses. I used it to make a victorian dress with some gathering and large pleats, and the fabric behaved well. Note that you should prewash this fabric to remove the chemical residue from the manufacturing process (this helps soften the fabric if you intend to gather it, too). The black color is satisfyingly black, although it seems prone to attracting lint, but that is to be expected.

The ONLY true black on the market.
Kona cotton as been THE place to obtain true black quilting cotton for the past 25 years. It's my staple black. All other blacks I've ever purchased are charcoal gray by comparison.
