HerbatintPermanent Haircolor Gel, FF3 Plum, Alcohol Free, Vegan, 100% Grey Coverage - 4.56 oz

I've been using this color for several months now. I color my hair about every three weeks and this product is gentle on my hair to use that often. I get compliments on the color all the time. There is no scent and no "burning" sensation like hair color from a chemical brand. Here are some tips for application & great color.1.) Get a smaller sized squeeze bottle to use for the application. This box recommends using a brush and bowl, but that gets messy. It comes with gloves, but a squeeze bottle will be much easier to use. The box does not come with any sort of applicator.2.) LEAVE ON FOR A FULL 45 minutes. I have left it on for less time and did not get the color or longevity as when I had left it on for the full 45 minutes. I leave it on for 45 minutes AFTER I've completed the application and the color is SO MUCH better. It won't harm your hair is you do this.I have fine hair, and this product does a really great job!

I used to bleach and dye my hair bright colors (eg Manic Panic and Punky Colors) for years when I was younger and wanted to try something more subtle and that didn’t require bleach. I have dark brown hair so wasn’t sure how Herbatint would show on my hair. I wanted a purple shade. I picked plum because it seemed more vibrant than violet. My hairdresser used her 30% developer solution instead of the 20% the Herbatint comes with, so my hair might’ve lightened a bit more. It’s pretty but not as bright as I’d like and not as purple toned as I’d like.It’s only been a week, so I can’t comment on longevity. I like that it bleeds only mildly when I wash it and hasn’t stained my tub, towels, or sheets.

The mixture is a bit watery and easy to drip when applying to hair. Doesn’t 100% cover grey and color on all white hair comes off after one week or so. Only good thing is it doesn’t has that much harmful chemicals,

Worked great, very pretty hue.Note that you probably need a brush for this as you have to make it in a bowl. I didn’t have one and it made things difficult.If you have long or thick hair get 2!

What happened? This is horrible, tint is thin as water, horrible rancid smell, did NOT even dye my hair or dye over my grey/white roots. I want my money back. This product was defective and the seller should check all this inventory for Herbatint dyes to see these are not fit for human use.I very dissatisfied with the seller and product.

Gentle on hair, vegan and consistent. I have dark hair and it leaves my hair with plum highlights. This hair dye brand always delivers consistent results and amazing color. I love it,

This product is awesome. I had looked for quite some time to find a this shade of purple in a PERMANENT hair color. It was usually a violet black that came out reddish in my dark hair. Easy to mix and covered great.
