Very cringe-worthy....
I just finished reading “To My Cocky Brothers Best Friend” and I’m not really sure what to say about it. I read the first 3 books in the series and I enjoyed them. The book was very cringey. Olivia’s brother Derrick was the most immature, douchey person I’ve read about in a REALLY long time. 29 years old and completely ridiculous in the things he said to his own sister and how he behaved. The dialogue between Olivia, Derrick and Tyler was incredibly childish. All the “Oh” “you know” “ha ha ha” and “like” throughout the book made me feel like it was a bunch of 12 year olds and not grown ass adults. This book felt incredibly rushed. The grammatical and punctuation errors made it hard to read as well. The editing left a lot to be desired on this one.I did preorder book 5 but I’m thinking I want to cancel it. I hate not finishing a series but I’m not sure I have it in me after this one.

What a disappointment!
This series had been a great read for me, so much so that I paid to pre-order this book, and waited for the release. But I don't know what happened? The book seemed all over the place, not making much sense. It was rushed and was really a disappointment from the first 3 books. We know the girls are great friends, but that's about all that was even brought over from the previous books. Maybe a little background story pleasing up to Tyler and Derrick s arrival. Maybe if Tyler didn't say such stupid things, and his cancer? Give me a break. Could have been such a great continuation to the series but if fell really short for me.

Tyler & Olivia’s Sentimental And Steamy Slow-Burn Is Spiced Up With Plenty Of Obnoxious Banter!
This is the fourth book in The Inappropriate Bachelors series, which revolves around a group of five women who are hired at a new tech start-up in San Francisco and become fast friends. Magnolia, Jane, Millie, Olivia, and Birdie support one another in their water cooler conversations and often enjoy going out together after a day of work at Cool Credit. The first book, To The Rude Guy in Apartment Five, is Magnolia's story about her rude new neighbor, Jagger, who turns out to be the boy she knew from childhood. The second book is about Jane. To My Arrogant Boss is her story about her complicated relationship with her socially awkward and incredibly obnoxious boss Tate. Book three, To My First and Last One Night Stand, is about Jane's obnoxious brother from L.A., Marco. Marco is all about a good time with his friends, but a visit to San Francisco changes all that in his and Millie's unconventional story.Olivia, twenty-seven, loves her new life and friends in San Francisco. She has watched Magnolia, Jane, and now Millie find the loves of their lives over the course of the year they have all known one another. She dreams of finding someone herself someday and settling down with a family. The dating scene in San Francisco hasn’t panned out well for her, though. Most men are into tech – and that just isn’t her thing. She hails from a smaller town in Florida and misses the beach and lazy days. She grew up following around her older brother Derrick and his best friend since age six, Tyler. Tyler was also her first crush, but of course nothing had come of that. Derrick and Tyler were big players, and besides that, she was sure Tyler would never consider her that way when it might put his friendship with Derrick at risk. There had been a time two years ago when she briefly got her hopes up, but nothing came of it so she had accepted that she needed to move on. With just herself and Birdie remaining single, they had teamed up. Birdie suggests an evening of speed dating, and Olivia reluctantly agrees.Tyler Redwood, twenty-nine, has definitely played the field. The one-time football player is now a commercial real estate litigator with a work load that leaves time for little else. As he approaches thirty he is more thoughtful about his future. There is someone he has always thought of, but until now he had been hoping she might find her way to him when she was ready. It has been about two years since he last saw Olivia, and getting second-hand information from Derrick is no longer enough. He and Derrick decide to visit his little sister to see how she is doing in her new home in San Francisco. He misses the playful banter and incessant teasing that never fails to rile her up. But he also fears her reactions when she learns about the secret he has been keeping. When Derrick and Tyler arrive in San Francisco, Olivia gets a surprise. Derrick has invited an old flame to stay with him in the hotel room he and Tyler meant to share, so Tyler will be staying with her. As much as she misses Tyler, spending one on one time is something new for them – and a little scary. She gets the impression he might be into her, too. But that is just the problem. Derrick would kill them if anything happened. And moreover, Tyler lives in Florida, while Olivia’s life is now is San Francisco. It seems inconceivable that Tyler wants anything more than a one night stand. With so much to lose, Olivia struggles with whether to give in to a night of passion with her childhood crush, or to play it safe and resist temptation.Tyler and Olivia’s story is about growing up. It is about finding the courage to become vulnerable and risk everything on love. Theirs is a story of childhood friends who grow up denying their feelings for one another. Tyler’s friendship with Derrick has always been an obstacle, but it is wasn’t the only one. Tyler has a very personal story that he is reluctant to share, but he can no longer avoid it if he wants to take the next step with Olivia. Both dance around their feelings, terrified of ruining things yet unable to walk away. After a few tears, the couple eventually finds a happy for now ending.Tyler and Olivia’s sentimental and steamy slow-burn is spiced up with plenty of obnoxious banter. Their story is interracial, and it is refreshing to see that neither sees race as an issue. It is part of them, but does not define them, because they see one another beyond just the color of their skin. The plot is fairly simple. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between Tyler and Oliva. I rate this book four stars.I received an advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

As the world turns
What happens when your brother’s best friend, the one and only you’ve had a crush on since early childhood happens to end up spending the weekend at your tiny apartment because your brother ditches him for a bimbo from his past he hasn’t seen in years??? Can Olivia keep it together and keep her lifelong crush a secret? Or will she give in to all of her fantasies? Olivia distracts herself by going on a speed-dating night out with a co-worker, but is that enough to keep her mind off of the hot man who will be sharing the tiny apartment with her for the weekend? To find out this and much more, this book is a must read.

Just okay.
I had trouble reading this book as I felt the characters were so immature. I'm not sure much growth was shown by any of the characters. There were several important issues the author could have chosen to develop more fully, but didn't. One sticking point with me was how certain words were repeated over and over again. "As well" was used 37 times and "cool" was used 44 times. It was annoying as well☺ as being redundant. Since the characters were professionals (a lawyer) in their late twenties and thirties it seemed unlikely they would really speak that way. I've read all the other books in the series. I'm just not sure I'll be reading the next one (as well no matter how cool it is).

Humorous banter with a touch of cockiness.
This is book 4 in “The Inappropriate Bachelors” series. The banter between Olivia and Tyler is fantastic. Tyler is cocky and so much fun. This book will hook you from page one if you enjoy witty banter filled with innuendo and lust. I highly recommend this book. It is well written and funny.

good book
This was a really good book, I will admit to the obnoxious bantering off and on was a tad annoying but it also showed us the type of relationship those two had. When they finally gave into their feelings for each other it made me happy they really have a strong chemistry, proof that friendship and romance can fit together nicely. And as always a wonderful HEA. I definitely recommend this book and all of her other books.

An ok read
An ok storyline, sad in parts. Tyler and Olivia have been friends since school, Tyler being her brothers best friend. They have both been in love with each other since then but both too afraid to say anything to each other. There is a big unexpected shock towards the end of the book though and some drama, but a happy ending. Going to read Birdy’s story now.

Not her best
I really wanted to be able to give this story 5 stars but I'm sorry to say I found it tedious. This author often has me laughing out loud but this book bored me most of the time. I certainly won't be reading it again.

Enjoyable read
I enjoyed the story, but there were a fair number of spelling and grammatical errors that made me want to tear my hair out. If I'm paying for a book, I want to at least know that someone has taken care to go over and check it out before it gets published. Aside from that, I enjoyed it.
