Yes, the flavor is 100% true to tasting like cola. However, that does not mean it tastes good. In fact, it is kinda gross. This isn’t a cold, carbonated bottle of cola flavor. This is a thick, gooey, room-temperature pouch of cola flavor. It is like drinking Coke syrup, for those older folks who remember. At least it goes down easy with water, and does what it is supposed to do.

I use it on almost all my long runs.- I like the taste very much.- my stomach get it well.- it helps me mantain my energy levels- it has caffeine.- good portion.

This is a harder flavor to find in town. Good deal on a good flavor. Recommended.

Perhaps not the best energy gel one can get for race efforts, but this product nevertheless makes for a great pick-me-up during those long training runs. I love cola and I enjoy running long distances, this product feels tailor-made for me

As a triathlete, runner, soccer player, and rugby lad over the last 20 years, I’ve gone through my fair share of electrolyte/calorie gels. I’ve generally liked all of them, though maybe some wouldn’t be my first choice. This is the only favor that has made me gag.I bought this thinking I could get through any box and worst case I wouldn’t buy it again. I gave this stuff away on Facebook.The flavor is reminiscent of cola, but it lingers in the bitter and medicinal space and not in the sweet and acidic flavor profile that makes people love cola. Like if you harvested orange pith and steeped it in cinnamon tea and then poured burned caramel over it.0/5 would not recommend.

I was surprised how much these taste like a cola. These seem to be thinner consistency which makes them easier to go done compared to some of the other flavors.

Pros:-Liked this flavor, nice having something different than the normal/standard flavors-Added caffeine (not a lot, but some, appreciated!)-Pricing was cheaper vs local storesCons:-Amazon sent these in envelope via USPS, smashed during transit and almost half were burst open and it made a huge mess (kudos to Amazon for standing behind their products and refunding this, but why send stuff out in envelopes? this is becoming more common and I really dislike this trend)...

Edit 3+ months after using: Returning to say the flavor has grown on me. Still not my favorite and I won't be repurchasing, but once you get used to it, these are actually sort of yummy!Original review:I ordered these after my favorite flavor (citrus) was discontinued and I wanted one with caffeine. This has a good texture and fun packaging, but those are the only pluses. The flavor at first is okay, but if it sits in your mouth for more than a second, you get a strong artificial taste. Plus the aftertaste is very chemical. High potential and maybe it'll grow on me, but I'm skeptical.
