Makes your door knob into a pull when in unlock mode
Nice that you can select power or no power mode to lock and unlock. I wired mine with the magnet up on top of door to have both locked with 12v applied, made door more solid when yanking on it. I plugged the controller into a battery UPS like you use on your computer to keep power during outages. It was a little sticky when unlocked so I sprayed it heavily with the spray can graphite and cycled it a few times to work it in, now it works great...probably need to spray again every couple of months.

Worth every penny.
This is exactly what I needed to add remote entry to a steel frame door. It fit right into the standard "D" plate cutout. It has been running at a daycare on the main entry door for 6 months with no issues. All the components are sturdy. I have used some other brands that cost 6X as much and work just the same at our other centers. I would definitely buy again and recommend to friends. All you really need is a power supply and a normally open pushbutton switch to make it work. I have mine rest at lock meaning when there is no voltage applied it's locked. Add a cheap intercom or a surveillance system and it's money for remote entry.

Great value
Good quality, was easy to install, great value considering the price of some of the competitors. Looks like it will provide years of good service.

perfect for hollow aluminium doors comes with mounting for inside door frame
I spent a lot of time with the smaller strikes trying to get them to work with the dead latch (two latch version on normal professional swinging doors as well as looking for a way to mount the strike inside of the hollow door frame. This solves both problems and the large size of the strike (heightwise) is forgiving if you are slightly off on the adjustments. I've bought about 4 different versions of the electronic strike until I found this one. It is a good product and perfect for my needs. I paired it with a electronic magnet lock at the top of the door, the combination is very secure.

Great for a novelty. Not security.
I bought this in March 2024, installed it in the beginning of June 2024. As of the end of October 2024, the lock is already starting to fail on a door that opens on average 3 to 5 times a day. If any pressure is applied to the lock mechanism, it will disengage, leaving the room unsecure. If you are using this lock for security, find a higher quality lock.
