Designed to fit MR16 20-watt halogen bulbs, the shades snap into place easily, changing the look and mood of the room in just a few seconds. Their design includes an overall mesh surface, so diffused light shines through the upper portion of the shade. A set of three, the shades will get hot during use, so caution is recommended. --Emily Bedard From the Manufacturer Real metal, perforated, two part shades add a modern look to your MR16 Lamps. Rear and side projection have a slight mesh pattern. Forward light beam is unaffected. Silver Color. Sold in packs of three.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ lamp shades
*by R***R on January 9, 2007*

I love the shades. they were easy to install and look great, much better than just the bulbs themselves which is how the product is sold.

### ⭐ One Star
*by L***R on February 2, 2015*

These do not fit the LitesNow that I own. I don't know why. I asked to return them.

### ⭐⭐ Cheap plastic
*by P***L on May 17, 2005*

These shades are made of plastic and don't fit very well on the lamp assemblies. The bulb (which just slides into the lamp socket) actually holds the shades on, but only loosely and with a visible gap. They do look better than the bare bulb and reduce the backlight refraction pattern somewhat. It looks like Amazon may have just lowered the price and changed how this item is handled, but I had to pay $9.99 plus $7.90 for ground shipping from the manufacturer (since this item evidently did not qualify for super saver shipping a week ago even though my total order was around $60) After shelling out $18 total for these shades, I expected a little more than cheap plastic that probably cost less than 25 cents each to make.
