This product is made of a soft plastic that I kind of like, almost rubbery? The hooks are designed for those disposable surgical makes with the string like eat loops and they work pretty good. My problem however is that I wear primarily cloth masks with a wider ear loop elastic and it doesn't really catch the hooks too well and if I turn my head to fast the elastic will pop off the hook. My advice would be that if you buy this make sure you use it with masks with ear loops similar to the pictures mask on the product description and not those flat and wide elastic loops. 5 stars just because the product does do as described in just have to find one with larger/deeper hooks

Does what is supposed to. Durable and comfortable. Only complaint is it tends to come to rest at the top of your neck, not the back of your head. Mask straps have to go under the ear, not over. But it works.

I like the comfort and use of this product, but it’s not very durable. My mask pulls on the slots too much, sometimes to the point that it slips off latch. But, I’d recommend this to others who don’t want to wear masks around their ears. I also like that it’s easy to wear my mask around my neck when I’m driving or don’t need a mask.

The product arrived as stated. It does what it is intended to do, however, has some deficiencies. When attempting to put it on you must hold one side firmly so the ear loop stays securely on the catch or it will slip out. The catches on the strip are weak or too flexible. I had to put the mask on placing the ear loops around my ears first. Then I slid the device under one side then the other. Once I got it on it was comfortable. The larger the ear loop, the more difficulty you'll have putting it on. I plan to secure one side with tape to keep it from popping out, then put the other side on. If you have someone to assist you, it will be a much easier process.

Definitely need these for flue season. I am around the elderly, definitely a life saver.

So I was extremely excited for this and was so eager to open the box. The trouble is that when I saw the contents I found out that it’s not aesthetically appealing at all. I know, I know. That’s not the function. But the fact of the matter is that it looks so much wider than the picture description. Very flimsy plastic but maybe that is by design. I ended up finding another product, made of fabric with a hook closure that is really thin and you can stretch it out more, it’s not an eye sore where people’s attention is immediately drawn to the back of your neck instead of your face. The new one from a different manufacturer that I have found I have noticed that it’s more comfortable and the metal hook is easily bent to make a super secure connection. It seems more like a bow tie and this one seems more like a hat snap style connector. Hope this helps someone!

The plastic on this is so flimsy that it barely holds the mask in place in a position low on my neck. The ear straps simply bend right out of the tabs. It is impossible to wear a mask in a higher position around the ears, so the bottom of the mask is open and does not create a seal. If the tabs were stronger, or if the extender was longer, it might work, but neither of these are the case. This might work with ultra lightweight masks such as surgeons masks, or masks with very long ear straps, but is useless for three of the heavier cloth masks I've been using.

I ordered these because I wear glasses and a head wrap and am in the health profession so I need to wear mask routinely while engaging at work. With this nifty device, i am able to comfortably wear my wrap which sits on top of my ears while wearing my glasses. The device does not slip nor does it catch or pull on my head wrap which helps maintain comfort and compliance with my spiritual practice and CDC guidelines. The silicon material makes it less likely to break or snap , which is nice for those times when i take it off and it falls to the floor or gets left in the passenger seat of my car.

After getting a new piercing, wearing masks became uncomfortable. So as solution to not have to buy a bunch of new masks when I already have six or seven I got this. When it arrived I first worried about looking silly in them. But they look fine and do the job. The only way of using it is behind your neck, if you try to put them behind your head it makes the masks get extremely tight and squish your face. It does have 3 little round nobs (so it doesn't get too caught on your hair, and with curly hair that was a big worry) for you to adjust depending on your mask and face size. Because at this point we all have found out that masks aren't a one size fits all type of thing. I've gotten use to them and quite like wearing them. In the beginning I had the feeling that the mask would slide down in the front but it just sits in a bit different way. These work better with masks that have thinner elastics, none of my masks have very thick straps so it hasn't been a true issue. More of an annoyance when putting them on, but not a problem really. Definitely recommend, cost me less than a single new mask and I still get to wear all the ones I have without discomfort.

they do save my ears however I'm not sure if it's because of my head shape, but they keep sliding down to rest on my ponytail which is annoying. Because it keeps sliding down, the ear loops on my masks still dig into the tops of my ears. I gave it a 4 star because my colleagues who I gave the rest of these ear savers to loved them, so it might just be my head shape.

Bought this so I could still wear my mask at work since I got a few new ear piercings. It's perfect, does exactly what it says, fits fine, comfortable enough, and my mask doesn't touch my piercings now.
