Legendary Whitetails Mens Thermal Lined Shirt Jacket Insulated Shacket

This by far a great jacket. It’s very comfortable very warm. It’s holding up in 20° weather I am very impressed. I thought the jacket had wool inside but the label says polyester which shocked me because I thought it was wool .It’s very soft. It says it’s 100% polyester inside and 100% cotton on the outside. I don’t even care because it works for me because I don’t like heavy jackets. This is very lightweight. I wash it once or twice a week and it’s held up in the washing machine and dryer. So I have brought a second one.

This is a very nice shirt, well made, and perfect thickness with the thermal lining. It is warm, but not overly so, making it versatile enough to be paired with a sweater on colder days but keep you nice and warm on most cool days, or even worn by itself as a nice shirt. I also appreciate the high quality construction and materials, and good fit. It's soft and warm, with good weight, and the snaps are high quality and easy to use.

So far my overall impression is very good. I ordered the large since I go 1 size larger on all my shirts for that extra space. I don't like my clothes feeling tight or to baggy. This fits just right. The length of it is a little longer then I expected, it's about 5 inches past my waist but I'm fine with that. The sleeves are how I like them, long. They extend past my hands, so I don't have to wear gloves or use the pockets, and my hands can slide out with no problem when needed. It hasn't been to cold yet but this has kept me warm. When I first picked it up I could feel it has some weight to it but it's not bulky. The whole jacket is thermal lined and the sleeves have a nylon layer that covers the thermal lining. The hand pockets could have been done a little better. They're a nylon pocket in between the flannel shell and thermal lining, but they are big enough to get the cuffs in there for a little extra insulation. The only things I don't like are the snaps and the side/hand pocket location. I wish it had buttons. If I lose a button it can be replaced but losing a snap makes a hole. I think the pockets need to be moved forward. These are almost right on your side. You have to bring your hands back farther just to get them in. They should have been more towards the front of your belly. Other then the couple things I don't care for I'm glad I finally decided to buy this. Hopefully this will last me a long time with no problems.

Great shirt that I wore over a flannel base for some colder days up north. The outer “shirt has an additional flannel layer inside making it a lightweight jacket. It was comfortable enough to sleep in and I had to at night as it got as low as 20f... unfortunately the snap buttons are not very reliable. The very first time I I snapped my cuff the button separated and was lost. Overall a great shirt. I’m sure this was a fluke. 4 stars for inconsistency.

This is what a flannel jacket should be :) Rough exterior fabric, soft internal lining, nice and warm, pockets on the sides where they belong (as well as the useless ones up on the vest area). Legendary Whitetails always hits the mark for me :)

I bought this Legendary Whitetails Thermal Lined Shirt Jacket as a gift for my 95-year-old father, and it was a definite hit. The inner lining is soft, the jacket is lightweight but still very warm, even on the coldest days. It also washes great and has held up well. Most importantly, he loves it! I would definitely recommend it.

I am pretty much GIVING UP ordering clothes through Amazon it is just too hit and miss. For instance, this shirt seemed nice online, however the quality was less than what to expect from Walmart, yet priced like LL Bean. If I had looked at this shirt in a store I would not have purchase it. The insulation in the shirt body should be the same quilted insulation used in the arms, but the body insulation feels like real thin long underwear like material, I ended up with hot arms. Also the shoulders and torso are too narrow for a size large, nothing can be worn underneath it. The sleeves are puffy at the cuffs, in addition the shirt arms are too long (just think of a shirt not designed for a human), I’m 5”11” 180 lbs, a large always fits me. For the same price it would be worth going to Kohl’s to try insulated shirts on before buying. UPDATE::: I did end up checking at Kohl’s and purchased a nice Columbia heavy shirt for $29.99 on sale in the winter section that was originally priced at $60.00. It was nice to actually see garment, try it on, look in a mirror first and feel the quality. What a peaceful feeling not to have to return something. For clothes, I will no longer shop online. ‘Eye Before You Buy’ is the new clothes purchasing policy for me, there is just too much weirdo brand junk for sale here. ********* Help the merchants in our local communities before they are driven out of business by the AI here.

Great shirt and quality construction. I got the large size which was true to size for me. It shrank a little after the first wash but not significantly and it still fits me fine. It’ll definitely keep you warm when you’re working outside on a cold day. Overall very happy with this shirt.

The shirt is warm enough to wear on a cold with just a tshirt under it

My Husband loved it, I would have bought the Lg Long next time as he is just over 6 feet tall. Great purchase though!

Flannel is very thin and it seems likely it won't last long. Sizing runs approximately one size big.
