Great lights for what you pay for, put them over my 20gallon reef tank, can only do about 50% power or too bright

I got this as a replacement for the 300w slim light- I had a 165w Relassy in my 40b and wanted better lateral coverage- which this delivers- brighter on all settings than the 165w- and for less money ( at least for the time being) great light, great price. The slim model I got I believe was not the updated version- more suited for fresh water- too much yellow in the whites. I'd like to take a look at the updated version of the 300w slim light sometime- planning/ building a 75g reef

Basic coral seem to be OK with the light. I was really hoping this would be a hit over the very expensive reef lights few can afford. This box is very cheaply made. The fans go out . How I found out the plastic liner around the lights started to come apart from the box. I bought this as a used like new off Amazon ( return ). It came working fine. After two months of use the fans went out. The company said I was on my own since it was a return. I asked for fans to be sent not a new box. As far as I can tell they have no warranty on this product. Would not buy again.

This is with the white off and the blue turned almost all the way down on a 7' long 220g tank in between 2 36" sub reef lights. Telling you, the blue channel turned almost all the way down is brighter than the sb reef lights turned all the way up! And at this price??!!! I paid over $300 for each of the reef lights and two of these $100 lights easily outshines them!! I wish there was a tad more "full spectrum", but overall, I advise you get a few of these before word gets out about me and the price skyrockets
