Had ordered these before, they are so handy to have around for my hobbies.

It works well, but when you slide the USB connector out of the case, it often slides back in. You may have to hold it in place when you insert it into the computer.

Although these are USB 2.0, at 16 GB they are practical. Reliable no-frills flash drive.

First, these memory sticks do what they are supposed to do. The issue I find with them is they are usually difficult to slide open and then even though you feel the USB click into the open position, it wants to slide back in when you plug it into the female USB slot.

I bought these drives because I liked the idea of having color coded storage. This works well and the drives do work. They seem slow, even for USB 2.0 and the plastic on the cases feels very cheap, but this is only a minor issue. The real problem is there is a design flaw in the retractable USB connector. It does not have a positive latch so that if you just try to push it into the USB connector, it retracts and doesn't make a connection. To use it you have to put a finger behind the drive and hold the slide in place. This is easy on a full size PC but requires lifting my laptop off the table to insert the drive. I also try to use the drives on my TV but the orientation of the USB on the back of the TV makes it almost impossible to get a finger behind the drive to insert it. Verbatim is a well known company and I expected better from them.

This one does it for me, both quality and cost wise.From now on, no more lost photos or documents.Instead of lending the original, I simply give away a copy and keep the original for myself.
