LOVE these, I bought 4
OMG i LOVE this thing. super lightweight. lightest packing cube i've found. extremely durable, i was super rough with it on a 2 month backpacking trip across southeast asia and it handled it like a champ. it looks brand new even now. it totally helps compress my clothes so i can fit more in my tiny little 24L backpack. and i could even squeeze in more clothes as I shop along the way. handle is super handy for yanking it out of my tight squeezed backpack. The dimension and shape is perfect for my clothes (no wasted or awkward space), and perfect for my backpack. I have the Osprey Sirrus 24 and 4 of these fit perfectly all stacked up laying down flat, along with the a smaller size cube for my socks and underwear slide down the side of this stack, and a toiletry kit on top of this stack. Exactly all i needed for my 2 month trip. my whole pack ended up weighing between 5.5-7 kg (12-15 lbs) the entire trip. I have squeezed up to 5 tops (or 2 pants and a pair of shorts) and a skirt in a cube (I'm a size 4 woman). Now here are the cons. They are by no means a deal breaker, they didn't bother me much. And they might be necessary to keep the weight down. and if that's the case please keep the design as is. But they are things to note in case it matters to you. The zipper is this U-shaped thing around the edge. and it unzips lower on one side then the other. I have used other packing cubes where it unzips around 3 edges of the cube (1 long side and 2 short sides). I found those to be easier to pack and easier to see what's in the cube. it is super thin and doesnt really hold a shape. But that could be why it is so freaking light. I dont really mind because i just roll up my clothes and slide it in anyway. the clothes give it shape. So if lightweight is important to you, this thing weighs practically nothing. Compare to other cubes that weigh as much as a shirt or more.

Great for packing!!
I have the older style of Eagle Creek's Pack-It Half Cubes, and there are some worthy differences between the Specter and the classic:1) Weight - This is sort of a "no duh" but these aren't just "lighter" they're fascinatingly lighter. As in, "this can't possibly be real." I don't know if the lighter weight makes that much of a difference in my larger suitcase (which is a carry-on), all things considering, but it does make a difference in my backpack/personal item carry-on.2) Fabric - I really appreciate the silkiness of the fabric as it makes packing in a backpack or other such space a bit easier. Can tuck in and remove more easily. The fabric also seems to allow more items to be shoved into the packing cube, while also compressing clothing. It maintains a cube shape. In my test-pack, I fit 6 shirts into one of these! (Rolled. Shirts included two button-down long-sleeved, one long sleeve running shirt, two cotton short-sleeve t-shirts, and one Merino wool t-shirt.) In another half-cube I test-packed a pair of jeans, a maxi skirt, and two pairs of shorts.3) Position of the zipper - the regular style packing cube opens like a mini-suitcase, with the zipper running 3/4 of the way along the short sides and along one of the long sides. This opens like a backpack or regular stuff sack with the zipper running about 3/4 maybe a little less) along the top and down the long sides. This style allowed me to stuff all of the above into the packing cube without the items falling out (which was part of my issue with the classic packing cube).I prefer the half-cube size as it gives me more flexibility in how I pack my bags (I'm a stuffer, not a folder). Great product! Highly recommended.

These bags are going to be a staple on any trips we go on from now on!
I received one of these as a gift (Half Packing Cube), and loved it so much I came here and bought an additional two! These are the perfect size to fit my and my fiance's underwear for our upcoming honeymoon. I test fit 5 pairs of boxers and 5 pairs of socks in mine, and she was able to fit 4 bras, 5 panties, and 7 pairs of socks in hers. The third one I got to fit my swim-trunks and her 2 swimsuits (1 a one-piece, 1 a bikini), which it does with much room to spare. Also, the material the bags are made of is super light, but does not seem like it would rip easily, even with the bags stuffed to capacity as they are. Finally, it may just be me but I find that the zippers on these bags flow so easily it takes almost no effort, even with the bags stuffed to capacity. Yet they don't loosen up and open on their own, which would defeat the purpose. I've honestly never seen zippers open so smoothly. These bags are going to be a staple on any trips we go on from now on!

Light weight well made
I have used eagle creek packing cubes for business travel since switching from suitcase to osprey farpoint 40 backpack a couple years ago ,the down side for me was no organization inside the farpoint 40. I wanted to upgrade my packing system, I use sil bags for backpacking and thought I would go with the Specter line for my business travel. Very nice packing cubes and from experience the sil fabric is strong while being extremely light weight. This size cube is easily holds four tee shirts and if pushed could hold five. I like the Spector line from eagle creek and recommend them to all of my coworkers when asked about the cool looking bags in my pack!

I love them
What’s not to love? These are lightweight and sheer enough I can sort of see what I have inside depending on how I pack it if it’s rolled I can tell. Obviously if I flat pack it’s harder then to see. But I can fit a lot in these from jeans to T Shirts and shorts. I’m only 5’1” and 130 lbs wear a Med to large size in ladies clothing for reference. I live in California and don’t travel to really cold climates. So packing has been fairly easy. I’m not using these to backpack, or for international travel. But for my use they work and are excellent.

Won't leave this behind when I travel!
I love this tiny bag! It can take in at least 3 to 4 shirts rolled up, undies, socks, non padded bras....and once zipped, it takes up so little space in your bag! I don't know what I did before discovering this!

Ottimo!
Secondo packing cube che prendo di questa marca. Ottimo prodotto, leggero, utilissimo per organizzare lo zaino e tenere ordine senza aggiungere troppo peso, più capiente di quanto mi aspettassi. Lo consiglio.
