**Q: What is the largest wire size that can be connected to this switch?**
A: It doesn't matter about wire size as long as you don't exceed 50 amps.  The connecting screws are small so you'll be limited by the connector size. I used 10 gage wire but could have used 8 gage or even 6 gage.

**Q: Is it really waterproof?  Can it last mounted on a boat panel out in the weather?**
A: It states being moisture proof not water proof. It's a rubber boot over the button which would be fine on a boat. Contact screws on back are exposed and subject to corrosion (But can be easily fixed). My main concern in purchasing was the "Copper" contacts. Hope this is of some help.
