CELOX-35 GRAM Pouch - MILITARY OD GREEN

I've yet to use this product personally, but have heard plenty of testimony from Soldiers and medics who have. We carried Celox powder packs in our medical bags on my most recent deployment, and while filling out my own at home, I knew I wanted to include some. The pouches were indeed green like the image. They can also come in white, but I prefer the low vis option. The information from the seller stated I could expect two years remaining shelf life. The expiration dates on the ones I recieved were two years and four months from my date of purchase. In case you've heard stories about powders like this getting hot and causing pain, this product will not produce heat when exposed to blood, as was the case with the old QuikClot powder. Some of the new QuikClot products produce less heat, and I keep some of their Combat Guaze product in my bag. Both product lines are fine as far as I'm concerned. I chose Celox for the price, and because I like that it comes in a 35 gram pouch.

I like the concept of this stuff , I am in no way an kind of expert but , I feel confident enough to be able to use it if I have to . I really bought it to put it my backpack first aid kit as a just in case item . I hope I never need it but , if I ever do and it really does work , I will write a better review .

The package is sealed and appears to have something in it. What more can I say. I'm a physician and it looks like the real deal. I would not suggest getting the powder unless you've used this before... Meaning you're a health care provider with experience. They sell a patch with this material impregnated on it, & a packing material. Much easier to use for the inexperienced. Just one mans opinion

Haven't had to use Celox yet but chose it based on input from an Emergency Room doctor who was explaining the differences between two products with simular properties. Also bought the other product as they each have their advantage based on the type of wound.
