Firstly, to anyone concerned that this product doesn't work, let me exclaim as loud as I can here, THIS PRODUCT WORKS. As someone who has worked in the professional skincare industry and worked alongside estheticians, I picked up a lot of valuable information from them. Firstly, a chemical peel, which is what this is, will NOT NECESSARILY feel abrasive on the skin, some of the strongest facials I ever had were feather light, and yet when it's done and over with, like with this peel, the results are noticeable. I want to carefully advise anyone who thinks it doesn't work, to mind that pineapple actually eats away at human flesh, and it's the active ingredient in this peel. I've found the formula to ball up on itself yes, but the slight grip allows it to grab at and exfoliate the skin better, it clings instead of being completely smooth like a lotion, but isn't abrasive as we all know that actually damages skin, the product is very strong so be careful, I didn't read the instructions and ended up dabbing far more than a quarters' amount into my skin and I ended up accidentally exfoliating my hands, too. I would recommend the following, to get the best results: firstly, use this with a pair of gloves. What exfoliates the face can and will exfoliate your fingertips. The product should be applied in quartered sections of the face, as the product dries really quicky. Rub in small circles until the area you're working on begins to feel smother. Everyone has different skincare needs, and thus the amount of exfoliating needed to achieve results may vary. It's best to begin with a dime sized amount, and slowly increase to meet your exfoliating needs. It's important to really hydrate the skin, and that's best done before bed so the skin can absorb the nutrients. This layer of skin is newer and more sensitive, the best moisturizer method is to start off with a light moisturizer and finish with a slightly richer one to absorb thoughout the night. Keep out of the sun for at least a week until your skin has had time to adjust to avoid sun damage. Happy peeling!😉

It's my first time purchasing the product; it literally removes the dead skin from my face, and I feel fresh and clean after using it. The smell is good and natural, too!

It works. I use it on my hands or face and they feel ridiculously smooth afterward. It smells fine, does not irritate my skin AT ALL, and basically does its job. On average dry or rough skin this will help a ton, totally magic. Gentle enough it doesn't irritate anything, but strong enough to get results, I would definitely recommend this product. On really bad areas it might take two or three tries over a couple days to really improve. I had scarring from sunburn that left my skin peeling and flaking for WEEKS after, no matter how much lotion I used my skin was still rough and flaky. This helped somewhat but definitely not a cure-all. If you have realistic expectations this is a great product.

I love this peeling gel! It is so gentle but effective. It clears my skin and leaves it so soft and clean. This gel will be on my skincare routine for good!

I see post saying it's not actual dead skin in the balls on your face and regardless if that's true or not ....I use different products for exfoliniating and I could definitely feel a difference in smoothies after the first use ..so dead skin is definitely coming off my face. I really like this product. My face feels so clean.

I really wanted to love this item but I don’t. The smell isn’t very good. The packaging is lacking but I feel like most of the skinfood line has poor packaging. I expected a lot of dead skin to come off and I expected a slight difference in my skin after using the product. Even if it was a temporary whitening or clarifying effect. I also expected a slight refreshed feeling on the face after using it. I was literally disappointed in every regard. I’m didn’t produce nearly as many balls of skin as expected. I do take very good care of my skin but I was shocked at how little. And a lot of what I was getting was coming from my fingers not my face. It’s not a horrible product and it’s very gentle. It’s just not for me. I think next time I’ll spend the extra money to get a more expensive brand. UPDATE- I tried the product on my arms where I have keratosis pilaris and it really helped/whitened them. I use it on my face 4 times per week and it’s reallu growing on me. I will add a star. I still want to try a more expensive brand but for now while I’m short on cash I’ll keep using this one.

Been using this for years it truly peels dead skin off I use it once a week. Its gentle yet effective. Leaves skin soft and bright after use.

This product is a winner. I love this product in every way. Leaves your skin soft and not irritated like some other peeling, and helps your make up go on much smoother. It's an essential item in my skin care regimen.

Die Anwendung ist sehr einfach und effektiv. Das Peeling Gel entfernt im nu alle toten Hautpartikel. Nachdem das Gel ordentlich einmassiert wurde kann man direkt sehen was runtergeputzt wurde. Einfach abwaschen und fertig. Ich bin absolut überzeugt!

I have quite oily skin and I like to use an exfoliating product to keep my pores clear. This product is brilliant. You rub it into your face and you can see the dead skin on your hands, not super nice to see but reassuring that it's working. It smells great and you only need a small amount. Leaves my skin feeling soft and clean, but doesn't dry my skin out. Don't use too much as it will make your skin feel a bit tingly. Great value for money, one bottle lasted me nearly a year. When I needed to replace it I flinched at the price and bought a cheaper peeling gel. Stupid mistake. Cheaper product was useless and I ended up ordering this 1 a week later.

Im ordering the second one now , my skin is combination with no pimples, it gets very dry on my cheeks but this peeling gel is doing great removing the dead skin and its has no granular effect

This stuff is great. I was looking for a cheaper dupe for the ptr one and its actually equally effective for my needs. It has a very slight citrusy scent and makes my skin feel exceptionally soft. I just wanted to point out that I have tested it on eczema patches (don't tell my dr.) and the skin comes off gently and does not cause any additional irritation, and it's nice/gross to see that it is actual dry skin that is removed not just the product rolling off. Took about 2 months to receive in Canada but thats normal for most things off amazon/ebay etc.

Super!un merveilleux gommage qui dès la première utilisation,à ravivé mon teint et atténué quelques boutons!il laisse la peau toute douce et ne l'a decape pas!parfait pour la peau acnéique qui ne peut pas faire des gommages au sucre.Mis à part l'odeur que je n'aime pas trop,je suis satisfaite !
