wisedry 20 Gram [12PACKS] Rechargeable Silica Gel Desiccant Packets Desiccant Bags Orange to Green indicating for Air Dryer Food Grade

Great quality item, does exactly as expected, and reusable which is a bonus, have previously purchased this item and would do again

Doing a good job.

Quick delivery have put these in a shipping container for approx 8 weeks whilst builders are working at my house. Item as described.

These little fellas saved my husband’s iphone, after he dropped it in a lake. We surrounded his phone with a few of these gel packets in an airtight container and left them to work their magic for 24 hours. And sure enough they worked perfectly. The phone functions perfectly with no damage at all. Most definitely the cheapest option to try before embarking on any expensive fixes.

They work

ProsKeeps things dry, Works well for shoes, food containers, and small storage boxes.Reusable with color indicator, Orange beads show when the sachet is full of moisture; can be reactivated in a microwave or oven.Good value – Comes in packs of 30, plenty for multiple uses around the house.ConsMicrowave reactivation needs care – Steam can be tricky; follow instructions closely.Color indicator isn’t perfect – Gives a good hint but might not be 100% precise.

Seemed like a good buy, was fairly cheap and appeared to be doing its job. Came in 4 packs so using 2 at a time and then 2 kept aside charged and ready to go seemed like it would work well. But the colour changed to wet fairly quickly and I thought maybe I'm using beyond its capacity, even with two. But tried recharging in microwave and it didn't seem to work. A lot of moisture was released (steam and damp bag) but was taking ages, way longer than what was advised on instructions. So I tried the oven and the bag burst. I'm not sure if it was the microwave or the oven that did it, but the beads spilled inside the oven and were a job to get out. Just aswell it is food grade, because I'm certian some are still stuck in there.

I'm happy with this purchase and have had no issues with it. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.

Very useful for keeping a mini fridge(the small beverage kind that arent true fridges) from building condensation.Would swap and dry them every 2-3 weeks with my use purpose. The bagging encasement material of them immediately starts to appear different and wrinkled when microwave dried but didn't seem to affect moisture absorbency.

👍

I have ordered 2 diverent packs, one of 4 and one of 6. I will use them for my filament storage bags, and these are reusable too. I choosed the reusable packets because throwing them away isn't good.

I live in Singapore hence the humidity here is very high. I bought three packs. They were effective to start with. When it came to putting them in the oven for the first time I made sure I got the instructions right. It didn’t really work. They didn’t turn all orange. Some remained as is, others turned half orange.I tried this twice to no avail. Then I put them in the microwave and followed the directions on defrost setting. Once again only a third turned white/orange. Another third remained the same and some turned black!I was so exited with this reusable product but I won’t buy it again. It’s taken me 2 oven tries and two microwave tries and yet the they do not do what the label says.
