I installed a basser box 10 inch in my Audi s5 sportback in the right side compartment. I had it for a months but just added this sound deadening behind it. It made such a huge difference. The rattle from the metal panels are gone and all the sound goes into the cabin instead of out of the side of the car. Pretty easy install and I didn’t even use a roller tool.

I have been an car audio enthusiast for many years, but had previously not used this product. I recently upgraded the rear factory speakers in my 2013 Honda Accord coupe with a pair of JL Audio 6.5" coax speakers and decided to use Dynamat with the install. My EX-L V6 Accord came with 2 speakers and a sub mounted on the rear deck above the trunk. The metal mounting surface has multiple small holes in various areas that prevented the trunk area from being a tightly sealed enclosure for the 3 speakers. I installed the new JL speakers in place of the factory singe cone units and tested their performance for a bit before applying the Dynamat and reassembling the rear trim onto the deck. The new speakers were a big improvement, however after installing the Dynamat and closing the trim up the bass response from the rear speakers and sub was amazing! It sounded like I had added an aftermarket amp to the sub. The rear deck has a rather irregular surface and required cutting quite a few separate pieces to be installed sort of like a jigsaw puzzle. My son and I took our time and were able to completely cover about 90% of the area using just a little over half of the 18" x 32" sheet. The acoustic improvement was so impressive, I will now likely plan to address the inside of the trunk lid and the inside of the door panels. I couldn't recommend this more highly!

Excellent product that meets the description very well. It is firmly adhesive and stays in place after it is applied and it can be rolled out flat very quickly making a nice smooth surface.

I installed it on the inside of the trunk of my 97 civic 4 dr because that is the source of my rattling. It worked great, there is no rattling from my trunk lid. Maybe its my car, because it seems to be working so good that it is transfering the rattling to the plastic rear dash. The dynamat also seemed to do the same before because without dynamat, most of the rattling seemed to come from the rear dash. Then I installed dynamat on the rear dash and then I heard it come from the trunk lid. I'm thinking about replacing it with different material so it doesn't rattle anymore

I used this to wrap an aluminum cold air intake that was just loud. Did a double wrop with what vame in the package and it reduced the roar enormously. Easy to cut, sticks great and works magnificently. Such a great value over replacing the tube. Extremely easy to use. Absolutely odor free.

One of the few sound dampening sheets that uses actual butyl rubber (no stink). It cuts easy and goes on easy using a roller or pressing it into place with a small towel in hand to press into complex curves. I used this to dampen the ring on some rack mounted shelves. No asphalt stink.

I was always sceptical of this stuff, I have a 2012 Mazda 6 and I used this kit on the housings for my rear speakers in the trunk/cab divider, my brake like housings and my license plate. The difference is astounding. I no longer rattle all over town but instead have a satisfying, tight, low tone rumble while listening from the inside and outside of my car. If your like me and trying to reduce the rattle heard from outside your car it's important to listen and find the problem areas. Open your truck and listen to brske lights, close trunk and see if you notice differences to help you pinpoint the problems. Gas covers and the inside trunk panel are the other usual rattle areas. If you can't figure out where it's coming from you will end up putting this stuff on every inch of your car. Which would be awesome but certainly expensive.

I bought this for my car's hood. I must say the result is excellent. It eat almost all vibration and noise coming from engine bay. I feel the tones from my car's music system is even better because noise kills the low bass tone. Installation is very easy , just peel stick, cut the excess and stick the remaining cut pices around to form a symmetrical art look. Before starting the installation don't forget to clean thoroughly the paint surface. Inside the pack you have dynamat sheet, 2 dynamat stickers. I love the one stcker with 3d appearance. Finally, if you are a person who love silence inside ❤️ your car, this is for you. A must try and value for money product

Works as described. Added it to the rear parcel shelf of the car where I replaced the stock subwoofer with a larger Pioneer subs. Seems to settle down some of the vibration.

Dynamat is not what it was 20 years ago, I order it it comes, I email them saying “ are you guys playing a joke on me?” This stuff you send I would make actually make more noise, and cheap stuff is probably so toxic too, so they reshaped a real type of quality but still not what it suppose to be
