This tape helps you hold on to your sticks and minimize blisters. Also absorbs a bit of shock and comes with enough in a package to wrap 2 pairs of sticks unlike the Ahead brand. Love it!!

Some reviewers found the tape sticky and some residue came off on their hands.I got the plain black.Happily, to me the feel is great, kind of rubbery, not sticky, adding just the right amount of grip.I'll probably never have a stick go flying again!

These is great if you are looking for a better grip while keeping a very relaxed grip with your hand and fingers. When it’s brand new it’s a little too sticky and may cause blisters, but after a small use it’s perfect and even better when you go through a pair of drumsticks and remove it to use with a new pair

It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The tape strip at the top sometimes does not stick very well, but overall, it helps me hold on to my sticks.

I've been using the Vater brand stick wrap for years. Not sure what's going on with this product but I can't find them anywhere. Tried MusiciansFriend, Guitar Center (local and online) Amazon, Sweetwater, etc. I even emailed Vater sales support to ask and it's been crickets!!So, I decided to give this Promark brand a try and to my surprise, not only do they have more tacky grip they are 1/3 less the price than Vater. Each pack does four sticks and easy to wrap and installed. I'm done with Vater!

I’ve been using these for years with whatever sticks I use on my e-drums, because those sticks last forever (compared to playing on standard kits). So the investment in Rapps is worth it (no breaking sticks). Softens the blow the best. I have wrist rsi so I combine with Zildjian anti-vibe 7A sticks for the softest impact but pro feel. Add Promark gloves for max support when inflamed. If I had always used that combo I’d have avoided RSI…white is best as it doesn’t rub off.

E comodissima se mentre suoni ti sudano le mani ti dà un grip favoloso senza appesantire la bacchetta. Però dopo un po' si inizia ha rovinare io c'è lo da 4 mesi e da poco a iniziato ha rovinarsi qualità ottima

I am what could be classed as an 'enthusiastic novice' in the drumming world. Unfortunately, I'm also of a certain age where my grip isn't really what it once was......Whilst playing my drums, I had become aware that I was subconsciously shifting my grip while holding my sticks, resulting in tense fingers, and ever increasing grip loss where one or other of the sticks would sail off across the room.I am a natural skeptic, and put off buying these stick wraps, as I incorrectly viewed them as a bit of a gimmick.Fast forward a couple of weeks, I have purchased two different styles of wrap, got them on my sticks, and the difference is very noticeable.From my point of view, my grip is far better than previous, (no flying sticks....!), I can now grip the sticks far looser than ever before, which obviously makes moving around the kit more controlled, and they haven't made any negative difference to how the sticks handle.So, it's a big YES from me. They're ace.. .!
