It looks b beautiful
This is an addition to my earlier review found below.. The bird bath is sturdy and attractive, but almost impossible to keep algae free, even with a solution purchased for this purpose. I am searching for a replacement. I love the glass 14" bird baths. I have had two. They are just too easily broken and not inexpensive. I do not like plastic ones because I find them also difficult to keep clean. The search continues.I did not need the stand. I already have a deck mounted holder, but wanted to replace the ugly and hard-to-clean plastic bird bath. I purchased the green. It is more aqua than green, but it looks great and seems to retain water better than the plastic one. I took a suggestion from another purchaser and added a small limb for the birds to perch upon. I also placed an attractive rock in the container for the smaller birds to use.I am very pleased with this bird bath and feel it will be much sturdier than the glass one I had last year and has already proven itself to be ever so much more aesthetically pleasing than the plastic one.

The stand post is very flimsy.
It's a lovely ceramic bowl, but the stand barely supports it. The stand post is only about 3/8 inch in diameter. We had to put a piece of copper tubing around it to strengthen it. They need to fix that!

Even the squirrels like it.
I like the minimalist look. I haven't seen any "bathing" going on but the birds drink out of it all the time. It came with the post and a chain harness to hang it up with. I stuck some twigs in chain holes to give the Titmouse and Chickadees something to light on. Blue Jays to Wrens come in for to drink. Even the squirrels will get up in it and lay on the edge while they drink. The glazed part of the bowel makes it really easy to clean and it hasn't gotten any algae growth so far. The brown color absorbs a lot of heat and makes the water about like a warm bath. I may buy a blue one for summer and put the brown one out in the winter to maybe prevent it from freezing. It's also easy to just pull up and move when I mow. The 3 prongs on the post makes it pretty easy to level.

For the most part I really like it, except for one thing....
I really like this birdbath. I really like the simple, understated look and it appears to be well made. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars, is that the way that it attaches to the base makes it inconvenient to clean. The basin screws into the stake. I think it would be better if it were designed in such a way that the basin rested on either a platform or if it had metal arms coming out from the basin. Trying to screw it back on without also removing the stake from the ground is a hassle. (Because it's hard to see what you're doing...)I have been thinking about buying another one, but the design keeps giving me second thoughts.

Simple, beautiful, perfect
I was worried about the stand being flimsy and unsupportive but this stand holds the ceramic bowl beautifully. It was easy to put together and in about 2 minutes, I had my bird bath assembled, spikes in the ground and filled with water. I added an old solar fountain to it with some rocks and it is the perfect addition to my little urban garden.I picked the brownish color because I wanted it to blend in with my fence and adding the rocks makes it look like it was meant to be and let's the flowers remain the star feature.I also like that once disassembled it is compact enough to move with me and I can move it by myself.

Love My New Bird Bath!
This is an easy set up and clean up bird bath. I love the color, the stand is nice and sturdy and the water dish is easy to clean and holds a good amount of water. I recommend adding some stones in the bottom of dish to make it easy for the birds to see the bottom and feel more secure!

Beautiful bowl but won't stay straight
I love the bowl... and I like the look of the stand. Very simple and blends well in garden area. The problem is once the bowl has water in it the stands sways and tilts. I have tried it in several areas and even with the stand prongs inserted into the ground all the way it still tilts and sways. I tried the bowl in a wrought iron plant stand and it fits perfectly, no tilting, no swaying....it is lower to the ground than the original stand but the birds don't seem to care. Bowl great... stand not so much.

Lovely bird bath
This bird bath design is simple and beautiful. The post that I received was apparently an older version and did break. However, their customer service was fabulous and they are shipping me the new beefed up post. I am looking forward to using this for years to come. The birds love it. They started using it the first day I put it up.
