I'm very disappointed in this can crusher. The flimsy plastic parts (98 percent plastic) did not last very long before normal use (crushing cans) caused it to break in half rendering it a piece of trash. Sturdy? No durable? NO. Value for the money? How much is a useless piece of plastic I have to throw away? If I could give zero stars I would.

The media could not be loaded.  This does work. I little tricky to put together because no instructions and screws we poor quality, but it is pretty cool. I have it mounted over the garbage can. I place a bunch of cans into it and lift handle, they get smashed and drop into can. Only reason not 5 stars is cheap screws and no instructions.FOLLOW UP REVIEW: I have had this now for about 4 months and it broke today. The plastic ram piece that pushes against the can broke in half. Very disappointing because it was working great. I contacted the company that I bought it from and then no longer sell it but immediately refunded my money. Which was very good of them. The bummer is they doubled the price so i doubt I will buy it again. Its not worth over $30.00 so I will look for something else. Additionally it worked well for standard soda cans but smaller cans like Red Bull you can only do one at a time. I really hoped this would have worked out. :-(

The product worked well when I got it. I liked having a hopper and having the crushed can drop into bin automatically. The hopper is flimsy but the rest felt solid enough until it broke after three months. The "ram" itself broke and while I could attach something to the remaining surface and try to fix it I am buying one made of metal to replace it. I would recommend that others skip the step of buying this first and go directly to a unit that is more robust.

The top chute is flimsy but still works. The crushing portion has very good leverage and requires very little effort to crush cans. I like the way the can just falls out the bottom right into my storage can. Much easier to use than my old wall crusher unit which you had to dent in the side of the can a bit to make crushing possible. It is almost fun to use this crusher.

Its is actually much cheaper in reality than it looks in the package. Frankly you would be better off crushing the cans underfoot that assembling this 100% plastic contraption that you then have to bolt on to the wall. I suspect it will last a week with the kids but as the old saying goes "buy cheap, buy twice".

It sucks.At first times, it does crushes can, but at time, it want crush good enough. One thing else I hate about it that it made in Chine.Everytime i use the crusher and some want crush, I say to myself "I hate China. America pays China little to assemble it and they put a bunch of junk together.

Don't waste your money on this one. I had one that looked exactly like this from Wal-Mart. It lasted several years. When it finally broke, I saw this one and ordered it. The first time I used it the handle and the whole bottom of it flexed real bad. It was not sturdy at all. The handle finally broke in two pieces. Junk !!

This was easy to assemble and works like a charm. It holds 9 cans like it supposed to. The only thing I don't care for is if the can is bent a little bit the cans get dislodged and then you have to take all the cans out and re stack them to crush them. If they are round they crush very easily.
