Stop thinking about it and just do it! This is seriously the best journal I could have bought on amazon. The quality is amazing! The paper is like cloth... so soft and bendy - not that hard cardstock other journals have. I had this sitting in my cart for a while and just bit the bullet and bought it. Came in no time and was packaged so well!!

I can't believe how beautiful and well crafted this journal is. I have been happily filling up the pages with pen, watercolor, and acrylics! All work well on this paper, though fine pencil can tear the paper so do be careful! I am so grateful for my journal, I adore it!! ❤️

This journal is absolutely gorgeous!!!! From the vibrant velvety smooth cover in this beautiful deep green hue, to the authentic vintage look of the paper. The binding is and spine are beautifully done, and I cannot wait till my fountain pen arrives. Excellent product and worth everydime, and I may order the larger journal/sketchbook to have once I've filled this one.

I really love this handmade journal. It has an older feel to it. The cover is soft and comfortable to hold. I’ve purchased others that are too slick and slip out of my grip. It is beautifully made and has pages with rough edges that are soft, look aged and are somewhat thick. It comes with an insert showing the artist’s name and photo. The only negative for me is the size. The listing should probably have a photo showing the measurements because I was expecting the journal to be 8.5” x 11.5” rather than each page being that size and then folded in half and stitched into the journal. I like to work in a book that gives me a little more room to create on each page. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and will most definitely shop with them again!

This leather journal is gorgeous. Excellent craftsmanship and beautiful paper. I have used watercolor and mixed media applications and the paper holds up great.

These Leather Village journals are so beautiful. I purchased one large one for myself. I actually removed a piece of the paper to do a media test and found that everything I've tried so far has worked wonderfully; pencil, ballpoint pen, micron pen, fountain pen! and watercolors. No bleed through. Little to no ghosting, even with paint. I plan on trying acrylic paints as well. I have no doubt they will also work fine. I'm an artist who loves working in watercolor journals. This one impressed me so much that I immediately ordered another large one for my husband. Funnily enough, the day it arrived, two of the smaller ones arrived (he was so impressed with my first one that he ordered me two more). A little background...I am very picky about my journals. Mostly I buy handmade ones with Arches paper because that is my favorite. Very clean look etc. But the vintage look/feel of these has completely won my heart so anyone looking for an out of the ordinary journal could safely try these Leather Village 200gsm paper journals and IMO thoroughly enjoy them!

Absolutely beautiful! Looks just like the picture. Pages are soft and buttery feeling. The cover is real leather and has that nice leather smell.I definitely plan to buy again!
