Way before the pandemic, I used adjustable, washable masks made by a well-known online company, whose whole business is that. I initially bought theirs years ago, for situations involving pollen, dust/cleaning, dog grooming dander, so I could breathe healthy air and it worked. There was never any coughing or sneezing after those tasks. I purchased my first Voerou mask in April 2020, and after a few months of use, it was a consistent performer for me in all those same situations, with no coughing or sneezing. I liked it so much and was worried Voerou might eventually stop making them, so I kept buying another one every few months. Since the first one, I've purchased 5 more Voerou masks, so 6 in total, but I've only used 2 of them. I kept thinking they'd wear out in a few months, showing significant wear, but they haven't. One of them I use for dirty situations (vaccuming, dusting, grooming the dog), the other for cleaner situations like being in public. After a couple of months of heavy use, the bright white ear bands do start to discolor, so I hand wash the whole mask with a major brand orange antibacterial dish soap. I scrub both sides of the mask lightly and thorougly with an extremely soft microfiber sponge, and do the same on the ear bands (which discolor quicker), and then double clean the ear bands with a toothbrush. I wring out the mask and the bands throughly several times, then use clothes pins on each ear band, attach it to a hanger, and in just a few hours it's completely dry. It's amazing how fast it dries. This Voerou actually holds up better, wash after wash, versus the premium website brand that thought they had this market cornered. Wash-after-wash, I compare that used Voerou to a new Voerou I haven't used yet, and it just keeps looking as good as new. The website brand I was previously buying, wouldn't look new after a couple of washes. The inside of their mask, that touches your face, would start showing severe fabric wear after washing it a time or two. This Voerou doesn't do that if you hand wash and scrub it gently. There's a couple of things I really like about this mask besides it's longevity. It's incredibly soft on my face, all contact points with the face feel softer than that other brand. The other thing I like about this mask, the massive amount of nose, face, chin and throat coverage compared to all other masks. Yes, I've tried a bunch of other reusable ones, by other manufacturers, wondering if there's a better one than Voerou, and this is the best out of over a dozen that I've tried. The Voerou just looks and feels like it uses superior materials, has superior workmanship, and over time it's durability keeps proving it. I'm attaching a pic of 5 of them, I think the 6th one might be deep in my glove box, in case I jump in the car and forget to grab one.

This is my 3rd purchase from this company and own more than 5 masks! Since I work 40-50 hrs/wk and wear makeup daily with the mask on, I do try to use a clean mask every time, hence the multiple purchases.I am no stranger to cloth masks, since I have been wearing it for years especially during allergy and flu season. I have had masks that never make it after one dryer use that I end up tossing them away or provide little coverage (barely covering the nose and mouth). What I like about this mask is not only does it provide a wider fit, it is very lightweight and breathable! The ear loops have an adjustable strap, which makes it even more comfortable compared to a disposable mask.I do wear glasses and yes, it still fogs up. The only thing that helps is when I wear my larger frames and have the lenses over ther the mask.Cleaning the masks are very easy. Although I prefer washing the masks by hand and air drying it, I do have lazy days where I throw it in the washer and dryer with low heat. The washer does not destroy the masks nor does it shrink in the dryer. Since I wear makeup daily, I scrub off the makeup stains with dish soap and water, and it easily comes off. If it's heavily stained, I use oxiclean max force, which works wonders!This is a great mask and will continue to purchase even after the pandemic!

I've ordered a total of 8 of these masks throughout the past 18 months. I hate wearing masks, but of all I've tried this is the most comfortable and best looking. They are a bit expensive at $15 each, but they wash well in the machine (just don't dry them in the dryer... they will shrink) and hold up very well.As opposed to disposable masks, I don't feel as hot while wearing this product. I rarely sweat under it. The adjustable face straps are a must and work well. I've had the beads fall off a couple of masks and had to replace them, but that was my fault by careless handling. The inner fabric is comfortable on my face, that is the best aspect to this product. No other mask I've tried has felt as as nice against my face when wearing for extended periods of time. Everyone seems to comment on the adjustable nose bridge... it's definitely there and works as intended.I'll continue to buy this product to add to my rotation until this pandemic is over... I've tried to find cheaper alternatives but nothing measures up to these.

I was worried that they would sell out if there were a lot of positive reviews. So, I purchased four extra masks before I wrote this review. I now have 8.These masks are so comfortable! They are not my husband's favorite but they are mine. I love them for the following reasons: the ears adjust, the nose piece is included and stays in one place, the design with the seam down the front middle of the mask keeps it away from your mouth.My only wish... that they had other colors in this style so I could match with my outfits. But, I receive a lot of compliments on the grey, it works with everything I wear.Why do I think these work so well for me?? I have a small nose, wear glasses and talk a lot. I wear these indoors and out. They fog up my glasses a little but are so wonderful when I am working hard and breathing hard and/or in a long conversation. I do not feel like I am going to suffocate! Well, I guess I am not certain exactly why they work so well, I am only glad that they do. Thank you, Voerou, for making me comfortable at work, at the doctors office, in the grocery store and everywhere else I go. I am comfortable, compliant and safer because of you.And, now that I have 8 masks, I can share my experience with the world. Go ahead and sell out because I am all set. ;) Thanks so much!!!!
