These lights are very cool!
These lights are very cool! They take all the work out of hanging lights up. It looks really neat pointed towards a tree when there is a slight breeze. It gives it a twinkle effect that is really cool. It’s easy to adjust the light pattern. The coverage area depends on the distance from where you want it to show up. I find it better to use at an angle, gives it a bit more coverage. With two angled it gives a nice effect. It has an all metal stake and base so it stays put once adjusted. The shaft connecting the stake/base to the laser itself is flexible and stays put. Very easy to adjust and change the angle. Take the waterproof cap off and you can adjust the pattern. Giving less but brighter lights or more that are less bright. Overall I really like these laser lights. Must easier than setting up string lights and they look very cool. My camera did not want to pick up the lights outside so I took a few photos of it indoors and up close to show the patterns. I received this at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.

GREAT CONSTRUCTION, VERY WELL BUILT, NOT FLIMSY
oN A SCALE OF 1-10 WITH 10 BEING GREAT, 1 BEING NEEDS WORK.......I HAVE 4 GREEN 2 RED, AND 1 BLUE. THE GREEN IS A 10++++++. THE RED IS AROUND A 5, THE BLUE IS AROUND A 2 FOR MY USES. THE RED AND BLUE NEED TO BE MUCH MORE BRIGHTER. I HAVE THEM POSITIONED TO COVER THE OAK TREES IN MY FRONT YARD. THE GREEN I BOUGHT 1ST AND IT COVERS MY TREES AND MY NEIGHBORS. THESE TREES ARE 20-75 FEET. I THINK ABOUT OCTOBER I AM GOING TO ORDER 4 BLUE AND 4 RED. I WILL SEE HOW THAT GOES. I DO LOVE HOW YOU CAN CHANGE THE DESIGNS TOO. I JUST WISH I COULD SEE THEM LIKE MY OTHER NEIGHBORS' STAR SHOWER LIGHTS.

Shine some stars on your ceiling.
I can't imagine why someone would write a bad review of the red illuminator. I mounted mine on a rear shelf in the the big room and it completely fills my huge 16 x 20 foot cathedral ceiling with beautiful red stars. Believe me, it's plenty bright, but the red "stars" are very relaxing and not intrusive. I bought a timer and now they go on every night between 8 and 11. They make watching space operas a singular experience. When the stars are off the room looks like a big dark cave in comparison. I doubt they will ever make it outside, as I'm more than satisfied leaving them in place. No complaints. Highly recommended

No wonder they have been discontinued
This was a very good product for night time lighting displays. I purchased several of these in red, blue and green when they first came out. This GEN 4 is junk, not bright, very few spots projected. Instead of a shower of "stars" it projects very few. It I hadn't destroyed the packaging I would return for refund. Do not buy. They don't make them the way they used to.

Flush your money or give it to charity...don’t buy this product.
This worked for about 1 week. After that, the lights failed to reach a tree that was about 30 feet away. I could put my hand in front of the unit and there was a light pattern hitting my hand, but pointing it at anything that was beyond about 15 feet, you couldn’t see the light. In short...we were robbed. Just flush your money down the toilet...watch it go down. You will get about as much satisfaction...actually maybe a bit more.

We love these things!
We love these things! We purchased two of them, a blue and a green two years ago and this red one last year before Halloween. We use them for Christmas and Halloween primarily, they were very rugged and withstand the California weather just fine. I like the container that they come in as it’s easy to put the unit back and store them when we are finished using them.

No sparkle Magic Here
No sparkle magic here. Red effect was so dim it was ineffective. Was using to replace one that died after several years to put sparkles on tree.Tried different power supply to no change. Tried to open case but it was hopeless.Just threw it away...Lesson learned.....Bad day in China. Mfg date 11/15; lot C1110115R4. No recommendation. Zero value.W. Shulz

Excellent product!
I have purchased 6 of these lights over the past 5 years. I absolutely love them. I use them year round in my yard. My entire back yard sparkles. My neighbors joke with me and say that my backyard can be seen from space. They are super bright and oh sooo pretty.Great price, great product and they last for years. Happy customer. :)
