Good quality and educational for children,

Just quietly read story books - no animation and very soothing for our 2 year old grandson who asks for "one fish" often.

My baby laughs in sheer delight EVERYTIME we play these for her. And you get 4 stories!!!she LOVES Go dogs GO! We were thrilled to get that one in the bunch. Also "The Best Nest" and "Are you My mother".

I have used this video in beginning spanish classes, it is perfect!!

We've avoided introducing our two-year old daughter to any regular tv/video watching until recently. We found the videos from this series ideal for a very young, media shielded viewer because they are based on book illustrations, encouraging the viewer to regard each illustration carefully. Our daughter is familiar with all the books and this dvd is very similar to having the book read to her---the pace is the same and there is no quick moving action. I understand why the previous rater doesn't care for the dvd, but that's what makes it perfect for us. We were looking for something paced for a very young, un-media savvy viewer. Actually, I think the adapted illustrations are charming.

our daughter loves her dr seuss board books (which are abridged) and was enthralled to see her favorite books' text & illustrations come alive on the screen. definitely recommend it for little ones.
