Package of 5 Simple Wood Turning Tools with Carbide Tips and Interchangeable Handle

These are my first turning tools. I have just started and didn't want to mess with buying a grinder and sharpening so I opted to go with carbide. These seem very well made, solid tools that go through wood. I've been able to get some very smooth finishes with the skew cutter. So there's not an awful lot of sanding as there could be. The rougher does an excellent job of removing wood. I use the round shaper for my initial shaping. Both of the detail tools work well for making mortises and tenons. So I find that I use all five tools. If I needed to replace one I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it again. The long foam handle is very comfortable. I made a few wood handles to reduce swapping but will order more of the foam handles because I like this one so much. Also looking at the other two tools down the line. Customer Service answers questions very quickly. It's nice to be able to talk to the people who make and use these tools.

I bought the simple wood turning tools on the recommendation from a machinist and so I wanted to have them made locally. He said that I couldn’t get them from Him at the great price of what you people were selling them for the only thing I’d like to see is a handle that has a collar in it instead of Allen screws and also The handle being weighted more to help take vibration out when you’re using them

Everything they said they would be. Well made and they work fine. Better tools than I am a turner at this point.
