The aPallo cane features a second handle located below the upper foam handle, to safely assist the user when rising from a sitting position. The aPallo cane's lower handle is ergonomically designed for both comfort and security with a soft grip, slip-proof handle. The cane height is fully adjustable. In addition to the angled arm and second handle, aPallo canes feature a high-intensity LED light easily accessed for nighttime maneuverability. The aPallo high intensity light illuminates a pathway-width swath of light that prevents injury at any location, be it a late-night bathroom trip or navigating an unleveled sidewalk on an evening stroll. The aPallo cane is adjustable from 29 inches to 40 inches to fit the majority of users from 4 foot 10 to 6 foot 8. The trek ball base allows for maximum safety, comfort, and shock absorption. The patented design provides safe and comfortable traction on sand, gravel, grass, cement, and other flat surfaces.

I like the extra handle
I like the extra handle. It helps me to get up from a sitting position especially getting out of the car. I like the flashlight on the top handle to help guide me in a dark room to get to the wall switch. The only thing I do not like is the hard rubber ball on the bottom of the cane. It does not help when walking on ice. I live in a Condo Complex and it did not grip the ice like the regular rubber bottoms do. I am thinking of changing the rubber bottom. But over all I love the cane. Thank You.

Okay but needs some improving!
My wife has a prosthetic leg and uses a cane to help her get around. Thought this one would be beneficial to her since it has two different handles. She likes the handles and is able to use it but the rubber foot that is on the bottom is not safe. It is too easy for the cane to lose its footing. We took that one off and put a regular flat one on. She likes it better with the flatter rubber foot. I would recommend anyone that buys one of these to do this.

This is a really nice cane but it took me a little time to get used to it. It does not stand up alone or hang unless you have a hook, but it does help you get up easily. My biggest problem is I keep turning the light on from picking it up wrong. I really do recommend it you have problems standing and you can get a different bottom piece if you want.

Great cane for walking, BUT....
This is a good cane for walking. I gave 3 stars for the cane use because it is very sturdy. But, the caps on the handles will not stay on, so I would never store anything in there. The caps are a nuisance. I may glue the closed. The lights do not work either. I was very disappointed.

Gift
Purchased this for a friend & she LOVES it. She feels very safe using it. Loves the way she can adjust how she can adjust the shock absorb as she lose's weight. She is now more comfortable going other place's than home. She is not afraid of not being able to get up when seated.

I bought this for a frail elderly woman. She cannot push herself up, because her pushing muscles are too weak. So it doesn't help her that much. The caps do come off easily. The flashlight is not impressive and requires CR2032 batteries, which one normally does not have around the house. But it's OK for the price I paid.

Great cane! If you need a cane, I recommend the Apallo!
Great came. Provides a second handle which can be moved to the other side so it can be used to help you up from bed or a chair. Handle includes a flashlight. A very worthwhile purchase. I highly recommend this cane!

Very nice cane, just having trouble getting my 93 year old Dad to use it. Guess one does not survive to 93 without being pretty stubborn.
