Computer display expansion
Great way to add a tv to your computer without buying a new graphics card. It uploads a display driver to your computer for the USB port. Make sure you pick a USB port that you can use constantly for display. Also, it does not duplicate your screen. It expands it. You drag the app you want on the tv from the computer monitor.

Not Reliable
This product does work to create dual monitors with different images on them, however it is very unreliable and a pain to deal with. When you plug it in the first time it will have you install drivers to make it work. Then the monitors work fine until your computer goes to sleep then when you turn it back on the drivers do not work. Sometimes restarting my computer is enough to get it to work again, but a lot of times I'm forced to uninstall the drivers which then forces another restart and reinstall the drivers which forces yet another restart and then sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.When the adapter does work it works fine at times, then at other times it changes the mouse icon so there are two mouse icons overlapping and it is difficult to decide where to click because it is not at the point of either cursor.At the end of the day, it's better than other products I've tried because it does actually create a dual monitor vs. a duplicate monitor of other products I've wasted my money on... but it has problems that make it a pain to use at times.

Does Not Work
This does not work out of the box. I got two and they both have the same issue. Firstly, they are not as advertised and do not automatically install or have a user manual. Instead they have an installation disk (the computer I need these for does not have disk drive). Once installed, only about the top 10% of the screen is visible and is constantly flashing. I have tried a lot of troubleshooting and will try more soon as I don't really have the time or funds to get new ones.

Sent it back
This was an inexpensive purchase to fix a signal conversion problem. It was supposed to be plug-and-play and therefore came with no instructions. Plugging the parts together was simple enough, but Windows10 refused to recognize or work with the device. I ended up sending it back. Sometimes that happens when I go for the least expensive item offered.
