Perfect travel mat! Lightweight, large enough, good grip
This actually wasn't my first choice for a travel mat, but it was the only one that would arrive overnight to the hotel where I was staying. It's perfect for a travel mat! It's not the lightest weight one (which is why it was my second choice), but it's still way lighter than the mat I use at home. It's a decent thickness to provide some padding, and if it's not enough you could always use it on top of a beach towel or something for additional padding. For me, the main thing is grippiness. I thought I could just do yoga anywhere but I tried it in the hotel room on a beach towel and it was terrible, because my hands and feet kept slipping in poses like down dog. This mat has great grip, and really I think that's the main thing you need to do yoga anywhere. It folds up so it's easy to throw in your carryon bag, which a rolled mat wouldn't be. I did notice a faint rubber smell on it when my face is close, like in child's pose, but it's not strong or too chemical, just smells like rubber. I hope that will start to fade but we if it doesn't, it's not a deal breaker. Glad I got this!

Perfect for yoga, even better for post TPLO surgery on 120lb dog!
Bought a few of these to help my dog post TPLO surgery. We have wood floors throughout our home, and instead of buying a ton of area rugs (which would've been expensive) we decided to lay a few of these out for him to catch his grip a little easier. I figured it would make him a bit more comfortable, too. These wound up being great, I love that they can fold up for easier storage and they dont slip around on hard surfaces. These were a life saver in a time of need, and now I can use them for yoga!

Thin but packable!
First, I love this color. Second, I can't believe how light and compact this is. It's a bit thin, but you'll be glad for the portability. If you're traveling indoors you can always put a towel underneath it to protect your knees. If you're traveling outdoors, you'll appreciate the lightweight packability. It feels durable for the price. It's easy to fold right back into original form. There is no smell. I purchased it "Used, Like New" and it appears to be exactly that. Update after a few weeks: This is a budget-friendly mat, and it doesn't have the high quality and sticky grip that great mats will have, but you'll pay a lot more for those. So it's priced right for what it is. I'll still keep this for travel because it's so light and compact.

Compact
I was skeptical when I finally made this purpose, and it did not disappoint. I wanted a mat to take to the gym, but I did not want something bulky. It fits nicely in my gym bag, and it folds easily. I love the vibrant color as well. I've been using it for several weeks now, and it has not started shredding where others might. It also provides sufficient cushioning.

Lightweight and portable mat
The mat did come with a slight chemical smell, so I had to unfold it and let it air out for a day or two. I like that I can fold this up in my bookbag after a quick yoga session. It is lightweight and I can quickly clean it up before folding it back up. Due to that, the comfort of the mat is sacrificed as I find the mat is not very comfortable. My knees feel the hardness of the wooden/laminated floor and hurt during certain poses. Obviously, if the floor was a grassy or sandy place it is not noticeable. There is good traction on the mat. I do not worry about slipping when wearing socks or with my bare feet. It does not move during the transition of poses. The mat is very durable, having been using this for several months and I do not see any tears or change in the mat's thickness.

Great Mat for Grip and Travel, but Durability Is a Concern
I really like this yoga mat—it's lightweight, folds up easily, and grips the gym floor well without slipping. The only downside is durability. Mine arrived with a scratch and a small chunk missing. I’d return it, but I need to use it right now. I’m just a little worried it might tear more over time. Otherwise, it’s a great mat!

Good Buy
Thin and slight waxy feel to it, causing me to slide slowly if I’m not wearing socks. Otherwise pretty cheap and does the job. I’m 5’8 and when lying down it fits me perfectly. Love how it folds.

Good travel mat, still "big"
After getting two others that were more expensive this one will do. It is the thinnest mat I own but let's be real...if your getting a folding mat it's to take with you when you travel. Thicker means bigger and will take up precious suitcase room. After using it once and folding it back up it's about as thick as my four fingers (see photo). It could compress a little more when packed right in the suitcase. If you have sensitive knees you will want to grab a towel from your hotel or where you are staying to use for your kneeling positions. I would say the mat has decent grip for what it is...a cheaper travel mat. I saw one review that added gripping tape to spots and I may do that. I didn't feel I was slipping enough on my first go of the mat to do it quite yet. The mat is about the size of a very large college text book but luckily much lighter. If I'm just going away for the weekend and have a carry-on and a personal item about the size of a backpack. I would definitely be able to make this work and take it with me. My guess is it's going to take about as much room as a folded up sweatshirt (see photo). I would definitely buy this product again when the current one wears out. Enjoy!

I teach yoga and don’t want a heavy mat to carry between classes. This mat is ideal as it’s light weight and folds easily without fuss , fits into my carryall allowing space for other equipment and resources. Beautiful colour choices . No smell. Good value for money. Not as robust as others I’ve had but suits my purpose for teaching
