Only Natural Organic Black cherry Concentrates, 32-Ounce

In 2008 +/- I had one of those VA department heads tell me I didn't have Gout because it wasn't classical. Two weeks later when the Allopurinol was out of my system my left ankle and foot swelled the size off a football. I had to go from 1 prior to 3 meds daily to include indomethicine as permanent damage appeared to be done and showed on xrays. 5 years later the VA (which negotiates for prices) stopped buying colchcine to treat gout flares because the price was too high. Since that time they will only give prednisone. At that time I started looking for alternatives including several juices concentrates and supplements. Within 6 months of finding this brand I was down to 1/2 my pre 2008 Allopurinol. I told my VA Rheumatologist and he was so upset he cancelled my up appointments and said to call him when I run into trouble. I let him know I'm not a "supplement"/ all natural person but he didn't want to hear it. I took the concentrate, Allopurinol, and Indomethicine as needed during flares. I still felt a twinge from my gout almost daily. How bad it was determined if I took a dose n, laid down, and I usually recovered within 2-3 hours without a flare. I was having flares in my feet, ankles, big toes, knees, and hands whereas before the VA head said I didn't have Gout I only had them in my right arch. After the concentrate, I only had a flare every 12 months. Then I'd consume a coupe servings a day until it passed. BUT, last October I had a flare of about 4 weeks I could not shake. It was my fault. I hadn't drunk any of this supplement for 3-4 weeks. So I stopped taking the Allopurinol completely for the first time since I also had Colchicine during flares. I haven't been on any gout medications since then only thus brand of concentrate, eight months now. I take 1-2 servings per week plus whenever I feel a slight twinge. Overall my gout hasn't felt this good since I wasn't a victim. Pre-1997. I mix 1 serving per quart of water versus 8 ounces. Make sure you shake well and drink cool for better taste. Your initial start-up should be 1-2 servings per day for at least 3-4 weeks.UPDATE...SEP 2021 ... Still Gout medication free, and sometimes go a month or more without drinking any of this juice. Still, only when I feel a bit of joint pain singling something is going on. About 2 ounces in a quart of water, or sometimes a double dose while I rest followed by another dose in a few days and all is fine. The Rheumatologist wants to see me again, but I keep refusing.

I got this originally for one reason, a body building book recommended cherry juice because of its high vitamin-C content to buffer lactic acid build-up after strenuous anaerobic exercise. Additionally the fructose helps with protein synthesis and replenishment of simple sugars. Other reviewers have noted they used it for arthritis and other types of inflammation, my use was somewhat different but equally effective.I am very in-tune with my body. I have used a huge number of the most expensive anti-oxidant and post workout supplements commercially available from Vegasport, to pounds of fresh organic raspberries. I eat a vegetarian diet very high in phytochemicals, I can do over 200 incline pushups in a 20min period. I know the difference phytochemicals can make in reducing recovery time after heavy anaerobic workouts. I can tell the difference between a cheap pill or tablet and a whole food. My primary concern with buying a concentrate was nutrient loss in the extraction process and shelf life. My concerns were put at ease immediately after tasting the extreme tartness of the concentrate, and the nearly instantaneous alleviation of pain from muscle inflammation.One of the things I like about concentrate is you can make it as strong as you want, from a table spoon of thick syrup, to a glass of flavored water. Another use I have found is if you feel a cold coming on you can drink this stuff straight and not only will it coat a sore throat it will cure it; I believe because of the acidity of the juice. If you drink this straight, as a concentrate, it will hurt your teeth, that is the level of tartness and potency.I highly recommend this. In 2013 my local health food store sold this for over $16. This is not the normal black cherry concentrate that I usually get but I had to get something until the Black Cherry Tart is Smart comes back this year. The Tart is Smart pours more like honey than a juice. Thee price is good for the amount you get, but I have to use twice as much (2 oz). The flavor is good and it does the job that it is intended for. I mix this with 1 oz of Chanca Piedra (stone breaker) and a 10 oz Sprite for Kidney Stones. Tastes almost like a cherry soda. Don't get me wrong, this stuff works. It just needs to be a heavier concentrate.

I have been using a black cherry concentrate for quite some time and have tried a few only to be disappointed by most. Up until this point the most expensive was the best, or so I thought. I saw this and noted that the amount was double what I had been buying and price was less than one bottle of the other for twice as much. I had to try it, figuring I wouldn't be out much. It comes in a substantial plastic bottle suitable for other uses when the cherry juice is gone. I checked the ingredients figuring there would be a lot of "fillers" of other types of juices mixed in, but that was not the case. It was almost pure black cherry juice with just enough of the preservative elements and nothing else. I was very surprised and pleased to find out that it was smooth, almost creamy rather than watery and the taste was great. Before this bottle came, I had already ordered my previous brand being unsure of what this would be. Believe me, this will be my go-to choice from now on, and you can't beat the price. Excellent buy!
