Get the one that WORKS! I have a simple question: the PRODUCT DESCRIPTION claims that Biotivia's products are being used currently by first-class institutions for research purposes. Biotivia also claims on its site that it is a major supplier for these institutions, that it has its own manufacturing facility and that it does its own testing. The problem, HOWEVER, is that I can find NO information on any of the institutional sites of any mention of Biotivia or any link between the company and their research, NOR can I find out any information from Biotiivia exactly where their manufacturing and processing facilities are located. There are rumors that suppliers from China supply the ingredients, and the tablets are subsequently "manufactured" in the states. Raw ingredients supplied from China would be a real cause of concern for me as a buyer.Does anyone have any more credible information regarding these three issues-- (1) claims to be supplier to Harvard, Yale, etc., (2) manufactures its own but no mention of location of facilities and (3) origin of raw ingredients?Thanks!

I've been taking this stuff for over two years now and attribute my higher vitality to it. Last summer, I started feeling slow until I felt I had suddenly aged at least ten years (I'm 54 now). I was trying to figure out what was causing such a systemic change, and then I remembered I hadn't placed my usual resveratrol order. I have a Prime account and can receive a resupply in two days. Within a few days, no problems. I felt like my usual self.My wife had been scared to try resveratrol due to our research that shows the trans- molecular structure is similar to estrogen. By my readings, no link has yet been found between reservatrol and breast cancer. However, she's taking it now after seeing what happened to our ten year old Labrador Retriever.Two months ago, we discovered that our little dog, Samantha, had liver cancer. Prognosis is grim, maybe six months. I looked on the web and found a study on liver cancer in small rodents that showed positive benefits to those given resveratrol. It doesn't taste good the first time you do this, but you get used to it pretty fast. We gave Samantha a high dose in her dog food and rub it on her gums throughout the day.On the second day, she was no longer lethargic. She was barking for more food and, even though she has arthritis, playing and bouncing around. Both her weight and her endurance on walks have increased as well. Time will tell if resveratrol extends her life beyond the prognosis, but Samantha is back to her loving nature and we're very pleased.It was Samantha's turn-around that convinced my wife. She's started taking resveratrol now and claims the same experiences I reported. Since all three of us are using up so much more of this stuff, we again ran out before an order came in, and my wife then felt the same sudden aging effects after just two days.With our research, it seems the Biotivia Trans-Resveratrol is the best product of its type available and it's the only one we've ever taken. As far as dosages, I was originally taking 500mg daily, but I now feel that for my 225 pounds, 2000mg is a better dosage. My wife takes half that and so does our little Lab.The only complaint I have is that in the last Amazon order, the pills don't seem to have 500mg, but half of that. I don't know if the formulation or manufacturing has changed, but I plan to find out. But as far as whether resveratrol itself works... for me, absolutely yes.-- Aimhirghin_SC

I have been taking Biotivia Transmax 500 mg for 4 months plus now. I have not missed a day. I feel no different at all, not more youthfull, not more youthfull looking, not more energetic, my arthritis feels no deifferent, no change at all. At about $60 per bottle of 60, I have spent $240. I do not understand other peoples reviews, probably the placebo effect. Therefore, a placebo at 1/240th the cost might be your best bet. "There is a sucker born every minute", J. C. Fields. Resveratrol is one of the most important supplements that I take. I don't drink alcohol, particularly the red wine which science has demonstrated has so many valuable properties for health and longevity. This brand and strength of resveratrol has proven to be very effective for me in terms of health and wellness. I take it daily with breakfast and so have no problems with digestion, etc.

My spouse and I have been taking 500mgs of Transmax everyday for one year. Before starting Transmax I was especially susceptable to colds and flu typically fighting off two or three events a year and they would last for a couple weeks each. In the last year I've had one cold that lasted for three days. Resveratrol? Nothing else in my life explains how my body has been free of infection. My wife has had no infections at all during this year. We have always had flu shots and that made no difference when we traveled. It seems Transmax had made that difference.

I found this product to be a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Shame on me for believing all the false advertising behind it. For resveratrol, it is dramatically over priced and it did not live up to any of the claims that it made.I have used other brands of resveratrol that actually worked!I have learned not to buy the cheapest of stuff in general so I was really shocked to see what a poor product this was. The only thing I got for my trouble was an empty wallet and a bad case of Diarrhea that kept comming back when I re-tried the product. After they told me that I could not get a refund, I would prefer to have give zero stars if I could have.

I have been taking this supplement since I was 59 or 60 years old. At my firt annual checkup thereafter, my doctor remarked at how my blood test measure (whatever it is) for prostate function showed marked improvement, something she said is never seen in older men! I have also experienced high energy level and improved mood stability, and have maintained good stamina and fitness for about 4 years runnning now. I consider this the best $1 a day I can spend.
